Tears of the Kingdom: Finding Sikatag Lightroot and the Abandoned Hebra Mine

by on August 8, 2023

The Sikatag Lightroot is one of the more difficult lightroots to find Tears of the Kingdom due to being inaccessible from the Depths. The only way to reach it is from a specific location on the surface.

How to reach the Sikatag Lightroot

Begin by traveling to Rito Village. Once you are there, stand by the Gatakis Shrine and walk southeast to the cliff’s edge. Jump off of the cliffside and deploy the paraglider.

Once airborne, turn and float to the left toward a small cave entrance hidden in the cliffside. Enter the cave to find the Rito Village Chasm.

Dive into the chasm to reach a new portion of the Depths. TheSikatag Lightroot will be directly behind you. Activate the lightroot to illuminate the area.

Explore the Abandoned Hebra Mine

The Abandoned Hebra Mine rests next to the Sikatag Lightroot. As with other mines found in the Depths, explore it thoroughly to find any treasure chests or helpful Zonai constructs. This mine is also a key location for a specific side adventure, but you can explore the area before starting that quest.
