Chapter 18: The Final Trial

Preperations
When you head back to the Thunderhead, there are a two more Goddess Chests we can get and then we’ll have collected all of them.
- Goddess Chest #26 can be found within the Thunderhead on a small island. When you land on the island, dig into the soil spot with your Mogma Mitts and make your way to the exit in the corner of the tunnels (it’s your choice whether you want to defeat the Moldorm in here or not) and then resurface. Climb the vines and open the Goddess Chest to receive Empty Bottle #5.
- Goddess Chest #27 can be found on the same small island as Goddess Chest #26. Head underground again but take the other exit to reach a new spot outside and reach the Goddess Chest. Open it to get a piece of treasure.
The Silent Realm
We’ve collected all three parts of the Song of the Hero, so now it’s time to go speak to Levias in the Thunderhead. Fly above him and land on his head to speak to him. He will then teach you the final part to the Song of the Hero, and a cutscene will initiate in which Link plays the full Song of the Hero with the dragons.
There is a final trial for us to take on now. Mount your Loftwing and fly to Skyloft. Head to the Light Tower and, using your dowsing mechanic, find the entrance to the last trial. When you find the trial gate, take out your Harp and match the rings along the ground as you strum with Fi. When you have played the song, thrust your sword into the symbol and you will be sent to the Goddess’ Silent Realm.
Obviously, being the last Silent Realm, Skyloft’s Silent Realm is the most difficult. However, it is not as open as Eldin or Lanayru – you should be able to complete it quickly if you take the best route and watch out for Guardians and Waking Water. Although, this can also make it very cramped when it comes to the Watchers that are roaming around, so you’ll have to be weary of that as well.
Below are the locations of all the tears found in the Goddess’ Silent Realm.
Straight ahead of the entrance to the Silent Realm. 
Turn back to the entrance and climb up the light tower to the top, where you will find the tear sitting in front of a Guardian. 
Head straight out from the entrance again and then head to the tear that’s sitting on the bridge 
Continue heading up the next path until you reach a ledge where there are four Watchers patrolling the tear in a circle formation 
Head back down the path but instead of going back down the slight slope, head straight across until you reach the graveyard area; the tear is sitting behind the back row of tombstones. 
Head up the path and around near the graveyard to reach one of the diving piers where a tear is sitting. 
Cross the lake via the floating rocks to reach the tear sitting on the other side. 
Head back to the other side of the lake again and go down the slope to the right to reach a wooden bridge that is being patrolled by Watchers. As you’re heading along this bridge, you will soon find the third tear off to the left on a single plank. 
Keep heading further from this area and you’ll reach a path that’s blocked off by fences – within the confides of these fences is a crate, the floating tear, and a Watcher patrolling the area. 
Head down the front steps of the Academy and then up the next set of stairs towards the Bazaar – the tear is sitting in front of a sleeping Earth Guardian. 
Go back across the bridge that we came to this section of Skyloft to and then head up the path that’s adjacent to the bridge. Jump off the ledge ahead through the opening in the fence; you’ll land in right in the spotlight of a Watcher 
Turn around and continue along this new path until you find the next tear past the set of stone steps. 
Head back down the bridge the way you came and climb up the ledges back to the main path. As you are heading down the path, find the ledge to your right and climb up it to reach the next tear. 
Right next to the previous tear, the last tear is sitting on the other side right next to a sleeping Earth Guardian.
Once you’ve collected all the tears, you will be sent back to the real world and you will be rewarded with the Stone of Trials, which will lead you to the location of the Triforce.
Our goal is to find the matching stone to the Stone of Trials. We won’t have to do a lot of hunting for it though, as it is in quite an obvious spot. Head over to the northeast section of Skyloft. When you’ve crossed the platforms over the lake, take a left and head to the bird statue that’s missing an eye. Upon examining it, Link will place the Stone of Trials into its spot in the bird’s eye.
When you’ve placed it, a whole new area will appear from beneath the Goddess Statue. There will be targets in place as well, so make your way to this structure using the Clawshots.
Gather up anything you need and then head into the final dungeon – Sky Keep.
