After three seconds have gone by the timer will disappear from the screen so be sure to keep count of the seconds gone by. The First Day requires you to use Bombchu to crawl and blow up the targets. The Second Day requires you to toss Bombs into baskets. The Final Day requires you to use the Hero’s Bow to shoot arrows at targets on the wall. Shooting arrows at Honey & Darling can help you save time if you are running out. 19.Termina Field: Gossip Stone Grottoes
There are four special grottoes scattered around Termina Field and inside them you will find four Gossip Stones. Inside each grotto, you must play either Sonata of Awakening, Goron Lullaby or New Wave Bossa Nova to the bigger Gossip Stone and it has to be the same song each time.
So if you were to play Sonata of Awakening in one grotto, you would have to play Sonata of Awakening to the bigger Gossip Stone in the rest of the grottoes. Activating all four Gossip Stones will earn you a Piece of Heart. Below are the locations of where you can find them.
- North: You will find this grotto by the North Gate, just northeast of it.
- West: You will find this grotto by the West Gate, just North of it. It’s easy to notice since it has a boulder over it.
- South: This grotto is in between the entrances to the Road to Southern Swamp and Milk Road along the wall just by a patch of grass.
- East: This grotto is in between the Road to Ikana entrance and the Astral Observatory, in the corner of the wall and the fence surrounding the observatory.
20.Termina Field: Water Grotto
In western Termina Field, this is a boulder covering a grotto beside the stone fence blocking the entrance to Great Bay Coast. Blow up the boulder with a Bomb and fall into the grotto.
Once inside, shoot an arrow at the beehive on the right on the ceiling and it will drop into the water and a Piece of Heart will break out of it. Put on the Zora Mask and sink to the bottom to retrieve it. It’s possible that if you break the beehive with the Hookshot, the Piece of Heart may land on the furthest lily pad.
21.Road to Southern Swamp: Bad Bat Tree
As soon as you reach the Road to Southern Swamp, you’ll see a big tree ahead of you with a Piece of Heart on top. However, there are Bad Bats flying around the tree and there is one sitting by the Piece of Heart itself.
You can defeat the Bad Bats flying towards you with regular attacking means. In order to defeat the Bad Bat on the tree, you will need to fire a Bubble Blast while wearing the Deku Mask or use another projectile-based weapon like the Hero’s Bow. Once defeated, you can climb the vine on the side of the tree to get the Piece of Heart.
22.Road to Southern Swamp: Swamp Shooting Gallery
Stop by the Swamp Shooting Gallery on the Road to Southern Swamp and play the game for 20 Rupees between 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The game will give you a time limit of one minute and 40 seconds to shoot every target. The faster you clear all of the targets to get a perfect score, the more points you get for the amount of time you saved. You will have to get a perfect score in order to get the Quiver upgrade first. To win a Piece of Heart, you have to get a perfect score with 2,180+ points.
23.Southern Swamp: Business Scrub Trade #2

Give him your Town Title Deed (Land Title Deed) in exchange for the Swamp Title Deed and his Deku Flower. Now you can hop into the Deku Flower wearing the Deku Mask so you can get on top of the roof of the building to get a Piece of Heart.
24.Southern Swamp: Swamp Pictograph Contest
The Swamp Tourist Center is holding the Swamp Pictograph Contest where you can take pictures of swamp scenery with the Pictograph Box to win prizes.
To win a Piece of Heart, you can either take a picture of the Deku King in the Deku Palace or you can take a picture of his son, Tingle. It should be noted that beating the Woodfall Temple will result in the contest ending, so make sure to participate beforehand.
25.Southern Swamp: Swamp Tour (N64)
NOTE: This Piece of Heart is only available in Majora’s Mask for Nintendo 64! In Majora’s Mask 3D, you will get an Empty Bottle instead.
Head back to the Swamp Tourist Center after saving Koume and beating the Woodfall Temple to go on the Swamp Tour again. This time during the Swamp Tour, Koume has a little challenge for you to shoot as many targets as you can while she’s flying around the swamp from start to finish.
It’s possible to shoot arrows at her but if you do that enough times, she will end the challenge. If you can manage to get 20+ points, she will reward you with a Piece of Heart.
26.Deku Palace: Inner Palace Garden
At the Deku Palace, you will need to get past the guards wearing the Deku Mask. Once you’re in take the path to the Inner Palace Garden on the left.
Deku guards monitor both sides of the garden so patience to get past them is necessary. Getting caught in the guards’ line of sight will get you thrown out and you will have to try again. If you can reach the end of the Inner Palace Garden on the left, you will find a Piece of Heart.
There are a couple methods to avoid getting caught. Wearing the Stone Mask can make you “invisible” to the guards unless you walk right into one of them. In the Nintendo 64 version, you can see the guards’ line of sight so you can know exactly where are looking.
27.Woodfall: Going Full Circle
In Woodfall, make your way around the map counter-clockwise wearing the Deku Mask. Be sure to defeat any Mad Scrubs, Hiploops and Dragonflies along the way. Once you’re halfway, make sure to activate the Owl Statue if you haven’t already.
From the Owl Statue, hop into the Deku Flower and defeat the Mad Scrubs along the way with Deku Nuts or Bubble Blasts from afar. You will soon reach a platform with a bridge crossing over another platform with a treasure chest on it and another Mad Scrub beside it. Defeat the last Mad Scrub and open the chest to get a Piece of Heart.
28.Mountain Village: Frog Choir
After clearing the Snowhead Temple, you’ll be brought back to Mountain Village. Head over to the pond where you will find a frog and some lily pads. While wearing Don Gero’s Mask, the frog will ask you to look for his four friends.
Your goal now is to find each frog and talk to them wearing Don Gero’s Mask. After finding them all, return back to Mountain Village and speak with the frog leader once more. After conducting the frog choir, the frog leader will present you with a Piece of Heart. Below are the locations of where you can find the frogs.
- Laundry Pool: Sitting beside the tree.
- Southern Swamp: Sitting on a fallen log near a Big Octo in the southeastern section of the swamp.
- Woodfall Temple: Defeat Gekko and Snapper.
- Great Bay Temple: Defeat Gekko and Mad Jelly.
29.Road to Goron Village: Thawed-Out Lake
After beating the Snowhead Temple, head over to the Road to Goron Village and you will notice that the frozen lake in the area has melted.
By following the path along the right, you will notice a chest underwater. Put on the Zora Mask to sink to the bottom of the lake. Open the chest to get a Piece of Heart.
30.Goron Village: Business Scrub Trade #3
Once reaching Goron Village, follow the path to the right and you will see a Business Scrub in a Deku Flower straight ahead.
While wearing the Deku Mask, give him your Swamp Title Deed and he will give you the Mountain Title Deed as well as access to his Deku Flower. Hop into the Deku Flower and fly up to the upper platform on the wall to reach a Piece of Heart.
31.Road to Snowhead: Call The Scarecrow #1
On the Road to Snowhead, you have to roll your way over the ravine using the Goron Mask. Once you are on your way towards the second jump, you’ll notice a snowy platform in the distance with a Piece of Heart sitting by itself. If you’ve already activated the Owl Statue in Snowhead, you can just walk over. By using the Lens of Truth, you can uncover invisible ice blocks you can jump onto.
Once you reach the last block, Tatl will fly over to the platform and turn “blue”. Play the Scarecrow’s Song and the scarecrow will pop up beside the Piece of Heart. Now you just have to use your Hookshot and target the scarecrow. At this point, you can either fall into the abyss or play the Song of Soaring.
32.Romani Ranch: Doggy Races
In Milk Road, put on the Goron Mask and place a Powder Keg to blow up a boulder that’s blocking the entrance to Romani Ranch and enter. On the far end of Romani Ranch, head over to Mamamu Yan’s Doggy Race Track by opening the door on the left. Talk to Mamamu Yan to make a bet on a dog and she will tell you to pick whatever dog you want to bet on. Once you pick your dog, bet however many Rupees you want to start the race.
Whatever place your dog comes in reflects how many Rupees you get back. Coming in 1st place will let you win triple the amount of Rupees you had bet, 2nd place will double the amount, 3rd to 5th place will give back your money and 6th place onward means you lose. If you wear the Mask of Truth, you can hear (read) the thoughts of each dog. You need to find a dog that is very enthusiastic that says something like, “Ruff! Oh, yeah! I feel unstoppable. I don’t think I’ll lose!” Once you find your dog, place your bet and begin the race. The personality of each dog is always random so picking the same-colored dog every time doesn’t work.
If you win 150 Rupees or more from one race, you win a Piece of Heart. However, it should be noted that you don’t need to come in 1st place to win the Piece of Heart. For example, you could bet 80 Rupees and come in 2nd place to win 160 Rupees. So long as you’re winning 150 Rupees or more, you will always win the Piece of Heart.
33.Keaton: Keaton Quiz
In North Clock Town, Milk Road and Mountain Village after beating the Snowhead Temple, you may have noticed a group of wiggling bushes when attacking one of them. Wearing the Keaton Mask in any of these areas, pick up the grass in the center and a Keaton will pop out of the ground a moment later.
Speak with it and it will ask if you want to take part in a little quiz. The Keaton will ask you specific questions with three different options available, so having any knowledge of objects, characters and locations is key. Answering a question correctly will continue the quiz while answering a question wrong will automatically end the quiz and the Keaton will disappear. If you answer up to five questions correctly, you will be rewarded with a Piece of Heart.
34.Great Bay Coast: Feed The Fish
Head over to the Marine Research Laboratory and go inside. Immediately to the right, you’ll see a fish tank with two spiky fish inside. Dropping a bottled fish into the tank will attract the two spiky fish, resulting in one of them eating the bottled fish and growing in size. When one of the spiky fish have eaten three or four bottled fish, that fish will go and eat the other one. The last fish swimming will spit out a Piece of Heart.
Having lots of Empty Bottles can be very helpful so fill up as many bottles with fish as you can. A few good spots to find fish are by the entrance to the Pirate’s Fortress, along the shore line near the waterfall basin in Zora Cape and a fish swimming inside the kitchen at the Stock Pot Inn in East Clock Town.
35.Great Bay Coast: Spider House Secret
In Great Bay Coast, make your way to the Oceanside Spider House, which is the building against the wall that’s literally in a straight path from the Marine Research Lab. Once inside, blast the wall with a Bomb and slide down the slope, then use the Hookshot to get over the fence and make it through the door. Enter the first room downstairs and you will notice colored masks on the wall with some Stalchildren sitting at the table.
If you have the Captain’s Hat, you will be able to talk to the Stalchildren to find out which of the four masks to shoot in an order of six. A couple Stalchildren can be found in the Library as well, which is the room blocked by webbing on the top floor. Once you have cracked the code and shot the masks in the correct order, it will open the gate inside the fireplace. Walk inside and up the stairs to get a Piece of Heart. Watch out for the Skulltula though.
Another method would be trying to figure out the order yourself by firing at the colored masks without the order. Having the Largest Quiver in this scenario would be helpful as you can drain through all of your arrows quickly. If you want to save on arrows, write down the order as you’re going. This is the only method if you don’t have the Captain’s Hat yet.
36.Great Bay Coast: Call The Scarecrow #2
Head over to the northern section of Great Bay Coast, in the lagoon near the entrance to the Pirates’ Fortress. To the East, you should see a huge wall with various platforms. Head over to the lowest one that’s on the far right of the wall and use your Hookshot to grapple up to it. At this point, start making your way North with the Hookshot from platform to platform until you reach a spot with some soft soil. Plant your Magic Bean into the ground and then water it with Spring Water or your can play the Song of Storms as an alternative.
Once the plant has grown, walk onto it and it will hover you to a platform above which you are to jump on. At that point, Tatl will fly over to a shallow cave and turn “blue”. At this point, play the Scarecrow’s Song and then grapple him with your Hookshot, pulling you into that cave where you can get the Piece of Heart.
37.Great Bay Coast: Fisherman’s Jumping Game
After beating the Great Bay Temple, make your way over to the northern lagoon in Great Bay Coast. On the small reef, you should see lit torches and a boat right next to them in the water. Riding the boat will move you towards an archipelago. When you get close enough, grapple the tree with the Hookshot and you will find the Fisherman. Talk to him and you can play the Fisherman’s Jumping Game for 20 Rupees.
The game is available to play between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (to 4:00 AM in Majora’s Mask 3D). The goal of the game is to jump onto one of the four islands surrounding the center island that has a lit torch. Jumping on a lit island will give you one point. If you fall into the water, the game is over and you have to try again. Make sure that you always jump back and forth between the center island when crossing islands to reduce the risk of falling off. In order to win, get 20 points within the allotted time limit to get a Piece of Heart.
38.Zora Cape: Waterfall’s Basin
In Zora Cape, walk along the shore line until you reach the waterfall. Wearing the Zora Mask, dive down to the bottom of the waterfall’s basin.
At the bottom, you will find a Like-Like and a couple Skullfish. Making use of the Double Cutters or the Barrier can make quick work of them all. Defeating the Like-Like will reveal a Piece of Heart to grab.
39.Zora Cape: Race The Beaver Brothers Again
In Zora Cape, walk along the shore line until you reach a bunch of logs just on shore and look up to the right and you should be able to grapple a tree with your Hookshot. High above the waterfall’s basin, you can access a cave to get to the Waterfall Rapids. Simply use the Hookshot to grapple all of the trees to reach your destination.
Once you reach the Waterfall Rapids, you will see a beaver swimming in the water. Put on the Zora Mask and swim over to the beaver then Z/L-Target it and it will make its way to the bottom underwater. Sink to the bottom as well and speak to the beaver. The beaver will ask if you want to participate in a little challenge. The goal of the game is to follow the Beaver through various rings underwater. If you manage to swim through all of them within the given time frame, you will face off against the beaver’s older brother with more rings to swim through. Beating the Beaver Brothers twice will reward you with an Empty Bottle. If you can beat them again with reduced time, they will give you a Piece of Heart.
In Majora’s Mask 3D, the swimming feature functions differently and to swim faster like in the original game, you will need to use the Barrier ability by holding the R Button. This however uses up magic, so you will need to collide with large green jars throughout the underwater track to keep your Magic Meter full. All of this can be counteracted with the use of Chateau Romani, giving you unlimited Magic Power.
40.Zora Hall: Business Scrub Trade #4
In Zora Hall, head on over towards Lulu’s Room, which is the door on the far left. Wearing the Zora Mask, talk to the Zora trying to peek into the room so you can enter the room.
Inside the room to the left, you will find a Business Scrub inside a Deku Flower. Speak to the Business Scrub while you’re wearing the Goron Mask on. Give him the Mountain Title Deed and in exchange, he will give you the Ocean Title Deed and access to his Deku Flower. Hop into the Deku Flower and fly over to the small ledge on the wall to reach the Piece of Heart.
41.Zora Hall: Impress The Band Leader
In Zora Hall, head over to Mikau and Tijo’s Room, which is the door on the far right. Wearing the Zora Mask, speak to the Zora guarding the room so you can get inside. Once inside, take off the Zora Mask and use the Hookshot to climb over to Mikau’s part of the room, then put the Zora Mask back on so you are able to read Mikau’s diary. Mikau explains in his diary that he and Japas had a jam session and had started working on their own song. Reading further, you will discover two parts of the song that Mikau was practicing.
42.Pirates’ Fortress: Inside The Cage
When inside the Pirates’ Fortress, while making sure you don’t get sucked out at some certain areas, you’ll find a Piece of Heart inside a cage. In order to get inside that cage, you will need to make your way up the stairs and head over to the left, where you will find a floor switch behind some barrels.
You can either roll into them or punch them as a Goron. Once you step on the floor switch, it will open the door to the cage. This door will close fairly quickly so you’ll either have to make use of the Bunny Hood or Goron Mask to make it inside. Once you get inside, you can go straight for the Piece of Heart.
43.Pinnacle Rock: Rescuing Seahorses
When you are in the Pirates’ Fortress, take a photo of any of the Gerudo pirates using the Pictograph Box. You’ll have a greater shot of getting a photo by wearing the Stone Mask as you will not get caught. When you head back to Great Bay Coast, make your way to the Fisherman’s House and speak with the Seahorse. Give the Fisherman the photo of the Gerudo pirate and he will give you the Seahorse in exchange. You will need to have one of your bottles empty in order to get the Seahorse.
Head over to Pinnacle Rock, which can found in the northern lagoon of Great Bay Coast by two rock spires coming out of the water from the ocean floor. Once you’ve passed between them, put on the Zora Mask if you haven’t already and dive your way to the bottom of the ocean floor. Release the Seashore from your bottle and it will lead you the correct way into the heart of Pinnacle Rock.
In this area, you will encounter quite a few Deep Pythons which can be defeated with either the Barrier or Double Cutters attacks. Eliminate the area of the Deep Pythons to reunite the Seahorses. They will then thank you for reuniting them and will receive a Piece of Heart for your efforts.
44.Ikana Graveyard: Opening The Second Grave
On Night of the Second Day, pay a visit to the Ikana Graveyard and you should see a few Stalchildren walking around a grave. Wearing the Captain’s Hat, speak to a Stalchild walking around the grave and ask him and his buddies to open it for you.
Once you’ve entered the grave, jump over to the next section with the group of Rupees. Equip the Lens of Truth to reveal a door that’s hidden behind a fake wall and go through it. In the next room, activating the Lens of Truth will uncover invisible parts of the walkway as well as invisible Keese and Skulltulas. The easiest way to get through this is defeating the Skulltulas first and defeating any Keese along the way. After crossing the walkway, you will come to a hallway with two paths. Place a bomb in front of the wall at the end of the left hallway to reveal a door.
Enter the room and you will encounter an Iron Knuckle. These enemies can be dangerous, so make you’re fully healed and have a fairy or two bottled up in reserve. The most effective way to defeat an Iron Knuckle would be throwing Bombs or dropping a bunch of Bombchu. However, you can also lure the Iron Knuckle into attacking and getting a few swings of your sword in. Once defeated, a treasure chest will appear with a Piece of Heart inside.
45.Ikana Graveyard: Opening The Third Grave (3DS)
NOTE: This Piece of Heart is only available in Majora’s Mask 3D! In Majora’s Mask, you get an Empty Bottle instead.
On Night of the Final Day, pay a visit to the Ikana Graveyard once again and you should see a few Stalchildren walking around another grave. Wearing the Captain’s Hat, speak to a Stalchild walking around the grave and ask him and his buddies to open this one up for you too. Enter the grave and you will find yourself inside a big room where inside you will find Dampé.
Remove the Captain’s Hat and speak to him. Dampé explains that he’s looking for the “Royal Family’s legendary treasure” but he can’t find it because his torch went out, so he asks you if he can have Tatl light the way for him. You can’t walk too far away from him or else he can’t see and will go a different way. If you Z/L-Target him, he will follow you no problem.
All over the room are spots that he can dig up with his shovel to uncover treasure. There are four spots on the ground and a couple spots that are elevated. Towards a stairway leading out of the room are a couple platforms on the ground. Just watch around around them as you will encounter a Wallmaster. Having Dampé step on one of the platforms and you stepping off of it will allow the platform to elevate over to one of the spots higher up. Be sure to make your way to where he will show up and target him again to make sure he doesn’t fall off.
Every now and then when Dampé digs up a spot, you will uncover a big blue flame or nothing at all. If you have him dig up three of those flames, they will come together to form a Big Poe and Dampé will run away out of fear. Big Poes aren’t too difficult to defeat. They will disappear and reappear behind the camera so you will need to turn the camera to face it and see where it’s going. After it charges at you, it will fly around a bit before disappearing again. In this case, use the Hero’s Bow to shoot and arrow at it. Repeat the process and eventually you will defeat it which will make a treasure chest appear which will contain a Piece of Heart.
46.Ikana Canyon: Business Scrub Trade #5
In Ikana Canyon, you can find a Business Scrub in a Deku Flower right by Sakon’s Hideout. Now, you need to talk to the Business Scrub while wearing the Zora Mask. Give him the Mountain Title Deed and in exchange, he will give you the a Huge Rupee worth 200 Rupees and access to his Deku Flower. Hop into the Deku Flower and fly over to the small ledge elevated across the water to reach a Piece of Heart.
47.Ikana Canyon: Spirit House
In Ikana Canyon, walk up a path to the left of the Music Box House and you should find the Spirit House. Inside you will find the Poe Collector and the Poe Sisters locked up behind him. He will offer you a challenge, with the goal being to defeat the four Poe Sisters within three minutes without reaching three hearts or less. Taking part in the challenge will cost 30 Rupees but if you were to play the Song of Healing, he will lower the price to 10 Rupees.
Your first battle will be against Amy. Like normal Poes, if you are to get close or Z/L-Target her long enough she will attack you with her lantern and disappear. A good strategy is to maintain your distance and just fire and arrow when she is not invisible, backing away, etc. Attacking with your sword is also a decent method. After you defeat Amy, Beth and Jo will are next. They act exactly the same as Amy so you can use the same strategy but since there are two of them, you need to be extra careful. After those two are defeated, your last opponent is Meg.
Unlike the others, she will appear in a group of four with her and three clones circling around you. When Meg reappears, the real one will always spin so having the camera positioned so all four are in frame will make things easier. Once you have a chance, attack Meg with a projectile-based item like the Hero’s Bow or Hookshot. If you manage to successfully defeat all four Poe Sisters within the time limit and without reaching three hearts left, you will be rewarded with a Piece of Heart.
48.Ikana Canyon: Secret Shrine
In Ikana Canyon, jump into the water by the two Octoroks and swim upstream into a cave where you will discover a waterfall and the entrance to the Secret Shrine behind it.
When you get inside, you will find a room with a locked door with a sun switch above it. You will need to shoot a Light Arrow at the switch in order to activate it and make the door open. Enter the next room and you will encounter the Poe Collector. He will tell you that there are a group of spirits that you have fought before that have been waiting to see you again. Essentially, you will be facing off against Dinolfos, Wizzrobe, Wart and Garo Master again, mini-bosses fought in the four dungeons before.
There are four rooms to enter, each containing a mini-boss. However, a certain number of Heart Containers in your health bar are needed to enter each room. You will need at least 16 Heart Containers to be able to take on each mini-boss again. Each fight will have little differences to make the fights a little more challenging but each mini-boss is fought the exact same as before.
Defeating a mini-boss will make a treasure chest appear with 100 Rupees inside, so it would be wise to having an empty Giant’s Wallet before entering the Secret Shrine. Once you defeat the last mini-boss and exit its room, you will be greeted by the Poe Collector once again. When he’s finished talking to you and disappears, another treasure chest will appear. This time the chest will have a Piece of Heart inside.
49.Ancient Castle of Ikana: Flaming Pillars
Enter inside the Ancient Castle of Ikana and open the door on the left as you enter. Follow your way through the castle and you will make it onto the northern section of the roof outside.
Once you have gotten on the roof, on the north side of the castle you should notice some pillars that have flames coming out of them on top. Use the Hero’s Bow or the Hookshot to hit a crystal switch nearby on one of the pillars to make the flames disappear for a limited time.
Jump down onto the closest pillar and put on the Deku Mask so you can make use of the Deku Flowers. Before the timer runs out, use the Deku Flowers to fly from pillar to pillar to reach the Piece of Heart atop the final pillar.
50.Moon: Deku Dungeon
Inside the Moon, speak with the child wearing Odolwa’s Remains and give him one of your masks to play hide-and-seek, taking you into the Deku Dungeon. The main feature of this mini-dungeon are the rotating Deku Flowers, the idea being having the proper timing to fly from one Deku Flower to the next wearing the Deku Mask. From the start, hop into the Deku Flower and wait for the proper timing to pop out and fly over to the first rotating platform.
From here the second rotating platform has a bit of a hazard with rotating spikes moving in the opposite direction, so you only have a short window to make it to the a Deku Flower. Now you will need to take your time and try to make it to the yellow Deku Flower. You should be able to see the exit to the left and a Piece of Heart to the right. Wait for the proper timing and positioning to pop out of the Deku Flower without getting hit by the spikes and fly over to the right corner of the room and pick up the Piece of Heart.
51.Moon: Goron Dungeon
Inside the Moon, speak with the child wearing Goht’s Remains and give him two of your masks to play hide-and-seek, taking you into the Goron Dungeon. The idea of this mini-dungeon is to roll down the narrow paths wearing the Goron Mask to bounce off of open treasure chests and change your positioning and jumping off ramps.
Keeping as straight of a roll as possible will help you succeed in bouncing off of the chests properly. Due to modified controls in Majora’s Mask 3D, it can be a lot harder to keep a straight enough path going so you might fall off a lot or not get the proper bounce off of the chests. Reaching the end of the path will lead you to a Piece of Heart.
52.Moon: Zora Dungeon
Inside the Moon, speak with the child wearing Gyorg’s Remains and give him three of your masks to play hide-and-seek, taking you into the Zora Dungeon. Wearing the Zora Mask, you will need to swim through some pipes while being pushed by the current. However, there is a specific route to take in order to reach the Piece of Heart. The easiest route to take would be Left, Left, Right, Left, though there are a couple other routes to take if you play around a bit. Follow the route and you’ll find a Gossip Stone with a Piece of Heart behind it.
In Majora’s Mask 3D, the Zora Dungeon is completely different but the idea of taking the correct route still applies. There are three sections, with the beginning of each section having a crystal switch to activate to open a gate for a limited time. Once activated, start swimming through the pipe system while using the Barrier ability to speed things along, choose the correct fork in the road and get ready to make a jump above water using the water current moving upward.
If you succeed in making the jump, you can open the door to the next section. If you fail in making the jumps at all, you will be taken back to the beginning of the mini-dungeon. From here, the same rule still applies for this section and the last. The correct fork in the road to reach the end of the mini-dungeon will be outlined by a group of fish swimming in front of it. However, you won’t be following the end of the dungeon fork to reach our prize. The route to follow to reach the Piece of Heart is Left, Right, Middle.
53.Moon: Link Dungeon
Inside the Moon, speak with the child wearing Twinmold’s Remains and give him four of your masks to play hide-and-seek, taking you into the Link Dungeon. This mini-dungeon is pretty straight-forward as you will be facing off against a few mini-bosses with a couple puzzles along the way. Each room is also separated by a small room with a Gossip Stone as well.
Enter the first big room and you will face off against a Dinolfos. Once defeated, open the door and pass through the first Gossip Stone room. In the second big room, you will battle a Garo Master and a treasure chest will appear when you beat it. Use the Hookshot to reach the chest on the upper level and open it to get some arrows. Advance through the next Gossip Stone room to the third big room where you will finally be up against an Iron Knuckle. Just be careful of its movements and use lots of Bombs if you have them and attack with your sword if you can.
When the Iron Knuckle is defeated, a treasure chest with 10 Bombchu inside will appear on the lower level of the room. Make use of a Bombchu to blow open a wall on the right side of the room, revealing an eye switch. Timing and positioning are key here to allow the Bombchu to blow up the crack in the wall so pay attention. Shoot the eye switch with an arrow to make a ladder appear. Climb the ladder and open the door to the next room and a Piece of Heart will be sitting in the middle of the room.
