Shae Katha Shrine – The Serpent’s Jaw
Head southwest from the Dueling Peaks to the Spring of Courage to locate the Shae Katha Shrine. To activate this shrine quest, speak to Kass who will be in the Pagos Woods, west of the bridge that crosses Floria River. He will tell you the tale of the Serpent’s Jaw.
Before you head to the Spring of Courage, you will need to get a scale from Farosh. The quickest way to get the scale is to head to the Lakeside Stable and wait till morning. Straight away head to the bridge and stand in the middle section where you can also claim a Korok Seed.
Farosh will come out of the top of a lake and make his way down the waterfalls to your location. Paraglide on an updraft that his presence causes and use your slow motion bow and arrow technique and shoot his main body. This will cause Farosh to drop a scale into the water. Paraglide to the scales location then make you way to the Spring of Courage.
You can choose to take on all the enemies in the direct pathway to the goddess status or you can head up the mountain side and follow the cliff’s edge around the whole area avoiding them altogether. This will depend on how many orbs you have collected so far.
When you reach the goddess status, she will tell you to make your offering and this is when you should drop the scale in front of her. This will activate the door to the shrine for you to head through and enter the shrine. Open the treasure chest and collect the thunderspear. Head to the altar and collect the spirit orb.
