Kam Urog Shrine – The Cursed Statue

by on April 18, 2018

Travel to Fort Hateno, on the border between East and West Necluda. It is on the other side of the huge Guardian graveyard by Dueling Peaks Stable.

Go inside the gatehouse and talk to Calip to learn an ancient verse. Follow the road east a short distance, then turn north into a ravine. The end of the trail is an area full of statues. Wait until 21:00 at night. One of the statues will start to glow with an eerie light. Shoot this statue to reveal the Shrine.

Trial of Passage

  • Enter the huge wheel via the hole near the base.
  • Remove the spiked balls with Magnesis to make your life easier.
  • Climb onto one of the spokes inside the wheel when it rotates around.
  • Glide to the high ledge to get an Opal from the Treasure Chest.
  • Cast Stasis on either of the gears to freeze the machinery. Do this at the right time to reach the Treasure Chest stuck to the underside of one of the spokes. A spear will be inside.
  • Ride the spoke up for a short distance and climb onto the gear in the center.
  • Facing in the same direction, run along a spoke to the opposite side of the wheel and climb up to the ledge.
  • Climb onto the gear and ride it up to the ledge next to the lasers.
  • Wait for the stairs to rotate into place, then run up them to reach the end of the trial
  • Collect a Spirit Orb from the Monk Kam Urog.
