1.1Ambush at the Sanctuary
After Gulley wakes you up from the first cutscene, follow him. Make sure to listen to what he has to say and activate the first weathervane. Keep moving west and follow the path Gulley takes. After getting to the Blacksmith’s house, go inside and watch the cutscene between the Captain and the Blacksmith. After the Captain leaves, and the Blacksmith talks to you, take the sword from the table so you can deliver it to the Captain. Go to Hyrule Castle and talk to the guard at the front gate. He will tell you that the Captain was going to the Sanctuary. Follow the path the guard indicates and make your way to the spot marked on the map. Read through the dialogue with Seres and Dampe and the ensuing cutscene. Head to the east into the Graveyard and push the headstone that is surrounded by a wall to reveal a set of stairs.
Once you walk down the stairs, move forward and slash the pots in front of you. Head to the chest directly ahead and open it to get the lantern. Equip the lantern and then move to the back of the room. There will be two pedestals to the right and left of the door. Light them with the lantern to open the door to the next room. In the next room, head to the far left and then north to where there is a locked door. Go to the right and follow the raised walkway until you find a chest. Open it and use the key to open the locked door. In the next room there will be three Poes, which are difficult to see, floating around. Defeat them all to open the door to the next room. In this final room, head to the left side of the stairs and pull the switch to open the door leading to the inside of the Sanctuary.
After moving to the main room, there will be a cutscene.
When you wake up after blacking out, there will be another cutscene. Tell Ravio that he can stay in your house and he will give you his bracelet as a gift. After finishing with Ravio, head to Hyrule Castle and walk in through the front gate.
1.3Meeting Princess Zelda
Talk to the guard to the left of the main door of the castle. After Impa lets you into the castle and leaves to get the Princess, examine the five paintings of the Hero on the wall. Once you have looked at every painting, Impa will reappear and tell you that Zelda is ready. Go through the door at the top of the stairs and read through one more batch of dialogue. You will receive Zelda’s special Charm and be instructed to seek out Sahasrahla.
