• Happy birthday!

  • Imagine if the process was painless and the ink lasted for 5 years, would you ever consider getting a tattoo? If so, of what?

  • Now you see, that is a good idea if family means a lot to you.

My family crest would most likely be a caribbean farmer, a mango tree, a hurricane, and a rice field. Our house words would be "Hungry? Come, eat!"

Funny how the traditions of tattoos have worked its way into the world. First island natives and slaves had them. Then sailors and prostitutes. Then just about everybody else after that.

If I had to get a tattoo done, it would be on my arm. That would make sense to your friend, the family crest is also called a "coat of arms", right?

  • I would only get a tattoo if something significant that is even more permanent comes into my life (like tattooing the names of my kids when I have some), or when I've accomplished something BIG in my life...I don't think I have. :/

  • Exactly! A tattoo is too much of a commitment for me. Hmmm I wonder if people with tattoos are generally ones whom make poor decisions, are more spontaneous, or are more committed than other people whom don't have tattoos. If I'm ever going to get ink done, it has to mean a lot to me, and so far, I haven't found something like that (sad but true).

  • I do. Video games are an artform, but I really don't play video games anymore. As I've gotten older, I've been able to appreciate more art (be it plays, music, dance, etc...). I've considered getting a tattoo...but I don't want something permanent, so I look at art pieces.

  • Found the artist and title of another painting I love:

  • May I PM? I'd prefer not everyone knowing.

  • Haha, I'm not that fluent in Welsh as well. Good to hear.

  • Something about orange and blue seems very calming to me. That's why I also like this painting: Amazon.com - Abstract Art On Canvas Modern Abstract Artwork Oil Painting c0129 - Leonid Afremov Paintings
If only I could find it as a print, and not an actual oil painting (too rich for my blood).

I can imagine having a very quiet life. Having a living room with Tardis-blue walls sprawled with paintings and bookshelves (I don't want an e-reader, I want BOOKS. eReaders are too distracting). A flat screen TV that isn't connected to cable, but wirelessly to my laptop. That's all I really want.

  • No need, I already found it. It's called "An Evening Journey" by Evgeny Lushpin. Yes, it is a nice picture. I'm looking to buy a print of it

  • If you can find the name of the artist whom made this (I believe it is called "Blue Rain San Francisco") OR if it is available as a print, I'd greatly appreciate it: Paintings blue rain san francisco cable car alcatraz wallpaper | (59250)

  • Happy Birthday!

  • PS: I'm heading back into hiatus tomorrow, so you won't be hearing from me for another long while.

  • Really? Between Bullet to the Head and The Last Stand, I was more interested in watching "Bullet". Personally I find Stallone to be the better actor of the two (don't get me wrong, I love Arnie as the Terminator, but Arnie as an actor has been in more unsuccessful movies than Stallone has).

What would you rate both movies?

  • Watched any good movies lately? It feels like awhile since I've been to the movie theater. The last three movies I saw were Lincoln, Skyfall, and The Dark Knight Rises.

  • Doing well. Today is by birthday...or as you Brits call it: Womb Escaping Day. I haven't done anything special, but that will be done later on once I'm with my family. What's up with you?

This is a whole lot better than what Alicia Keys had for Quantum of Solace.

    See you around.

  • Have you heard Adele's song for Skyfall?

Which are your favorite Bond songs? Mine would have to be Chris Cornell's You Know My Name, Garbage's The World Is Not Enough, and Tina Turner's Golden Eye.

Sorry to revert back to the topic of Bond, but I just saw Daniel Craig on Saturday Night Live, and it got me to think of him again.

  • Oh well then, did you buy any of their CDs/memorabilia?

  • How the heck were they able to do it, without hurting anybody? Sorry, I just have to ask because I've never been to a big concert (small ones, yes, but not big ones).

  • ...*googles "tumblers"* OH! Shotglasses lol sorry, I just had to check. They threw them that no liquid fell out...impressive because I can't think of a way how that's possible (unless the top was vacuum sealed with a lid or something).

  • Ahh Onatop, :D I liked how she put a smile on everyone's faces. She's sorta like a Harley Quinn version of a Bond villain.

How did they distribute the drinks to the audience? Did they just hose them? As for Daughtry, he (the lead singer, Chris Daughtry) had a few hits in the U.S. (he won 5th place in American Idol), but I haven't heard what he's been doing as of late. It's sort of a step back if he's opening up for someone else. Usually the opening act is someone that's trying to garner fame in the business.

  • Would an evil child genius be considered "jumping the shark" as a new Bond villain? There are a few female enemies, but they are just considered as "Bond Girls". What about one that is actually threatening that she is the main villain? One way to make sure she isn't confused as just an ordinary "Bond Girl" is to not have her be young and beautiful (Bond seems to sleep with those).

    Posted by BigGoronSword

  • Ah thanks for the link. I need confuse Graves for Benard...then what was Graves' oddity? Only needing to sleep for 2 hours?

  • I accidentally overheard one rumor about Skyfall
that "M" is going to die. I really hope this isn't true. We don't need a younger "M". "M" doesn't do much, so I don't see a reason to kill her off. So I don't see any reason if Judi Dench is complaining
.

Who the heck is Renard? Maybe I'm confusing both movies. Bond needs a villain with a robotic arm. Something to be as memorable as Jaw's teeth.
