  • Hey Emerald are you gonna be here for your birthday? I really hope so. I know that's coming up soon.

    Posted by TruEdge67

    • Well, I'll be leaving for the coast with the family next Sunday, maybe this Saturday. I might be giving the chance to talk here whilst on the road but not as much. so the answer is yes but it'll be shortlived.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • I plan on making you a birthday card and I have a little something else for you. I really hope you will be here then even for a little.

      Posted by TruEdge67

  • SAILOR NEPTUNE!! ;) :moon:

    Posted by Tuf Pic

  • Let's have a very deep and meaningful conversation!

    Posted by Guinea

    • Well, what would like to talk about then?

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • Let's talk about what it means to be a hero.

      Posted by Guinea

    • Hm...Well, what it means to be a Hero can be complicated, but I think it all has to do with being your best self... Sure you could beat bad guys or save fair maidens but that's not what it's about. A way to look at it is to be someone meaningful, a role model, someone to give you advice someone to look up to you, for example, Stan Lee as far as I'm concerned he never did any monster hunting or world saving in his career, but he is still a hero to us all for bringing the world happiness with wonderful stories to read and watch. What it truly means to be a hero is to be true to yourself, be true to others around you, be your best self, and be the best you can be to everyone.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • I agree. Why gain anything other than moral satisfaction for doing what's right? (well, aside from being broke. I'd gladly take a reward for doing a good deed haha)

On another note: I've started writing your legend story and so far it's really good!

Speaking of heroes... who is your favorite hero? Family member, superhero, or otherwise?

      Posted by Guinea

    • My wife has saved me countless times, either from stupid decisions or from death itself, I owe her my life for all that's she's done for me, She is my hero.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • Just coming here to tell you that I wish you the best and really hope you make it through this. This has been on my mind for the past few days. I want you to know that your kindness and support means so much to me and I really appreciate it. I'm really glad I met you Emerald. You're an amazing guy and the world is a better place with you in it so you better not go leaving it! Get well soon! For yourself and the rest of the people both in your family and those here that love you too.

    Posted by TruEdge67

    • Thank you greatly my lad. I'm very glad to have met you as well mate, I'm very happy to have found this place. tis a great way to chat with others and share the many lessons and legends of my family. And don't you worry, I ain't going anywhere for anyone.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • Hi Emerald. How are you feeling today?

      Posted by TruEdge67

    • Grand! I still have a broken arm and a one or two deep cuts on my skin but in terms of the frostbite, I feel fine. I feel nice and warm and none of my limbs feel like they're going to fall off.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • That's really good to hear. I don't have to worry about you dying anymore. I hope your arm and cuts heal as quickly as possible. What have you done with that broken arm? It's in a splint or something right? I hope you've been resting it.

      Posted by TruEdge67

    • I've just been laying in bed this whole time, with a cast it'll heal fast. and now that I have the battle to watch I can finally have some entertainment!

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • I hope you heal up even stronger than before, Emerald. I hate how you got hurt...

    Posted by Guinea

    • Aye don't you worry about me mate. I'm tough enough to fight that damned frostbite and come back alive, a few scars here and there wouldn't do me any harm.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • Swiggity swoonity get better soon-ity!
    Seriously though, get well soon!

Posted by Amber The Gay Fox

  • Lost a fight to the bloody snow? A shame, but keep resting up and get better soon!

    Posted by Monika

    • I'm getting old lad... I used to fight snow storms like a wolf back in my younger days.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • Get well soon Emerald Isle.

    Posted by Thal1989

  • I hope you get well soon. Fight the good fight!

    Posted by seobam

  • People liked the name Emerald Isle!

    Posted by Lady Sunshine

    • Well, I do suppose the Isle part helps, For Ireland baby!
by the way, you don't need to create a banner for me, I know there are many who are getting one and I don't want to add to that amount of work.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • We must do battle with the blade once the blood moon rises high above the clouds on a stormy night.

Or... not. I'd rather just continue being friends, honestly.

    Posted by Guinea

  • Hey Emerald I'm 100% positive you are the coolest person I will ever interact with. P.S. I wish my name was Crescent

    Posted by Horizon

  • I'm really glad you and your wife joined our clan and the site. You two are a pleasure to talk to. Your past is also really cool.

    Posted by TruEdge67

    • Thanks for all the nice words laddie, I've said it before but you are truly a kind hearted leader of ZU, You've done a great service to all my friend, And hey, if you have any questions about me, my wife, my family, or...anything...I'm always here.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • How are ya?

    Posted by seobam

    • I'm doing good lad, I just got back from a long drive to the coast and am very tired now but other than that I'm feeling alright, how about you?

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • I'm doing quite well. Not much has happened recently, but I've been worse.

I know this is a super late reply, but how was the coast?

      Posted by seobam

    • T'was a grand adventure, we went there to sail on the waters for a short three days with nothing but the ship and a few buckets of rum.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • A grand adventure indeed. Who did you travel with?

      Posted by seobam

    • Just my daughter actually, it can be more difficult to sail a ship with only a crew of two but it was fun nonetheless.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • Hey Emerald. Me and Realm are making a webcomic out of the Hunger Games Simulator. What do you wanna look like?

    Posted by BackSet

  • I bet you would love 'Fair Blows the Wind' by Louis L'amour. It's probably my favorite book of all time.

Pirates, swords, badass men from Ireland. It has it all!

    Posted by Guinea

  • I swear you're one of the funniest people on this site xD

    Posted by Guinea

    • Comedy is something that brings joy and laughter to all and can make people love you...and hate you...a lot...it's 2018 you can't make jokes.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • I do it anyway, because you know, whatevs.

      Posted by Guinea

  • wtf I'm not following you yet

    Posted by Embalistico

    • Glad you fixed that, feels like I haven't seen you in a while lad, where've ya been mate?

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • We rented a cabin for christmas, and I didn't have my laptop with me, and ZU doesn't work on my phone for some reason anymore... I missed all the merry christmases and present braggings...

      How was your christmas?

      Posted by Embalistico

    • Great, Christmas gives me a chance to visit my family who I don't see often, for the first time in 3 years I got to see my two daughters again were returning home, and just like every Winter Solstice I got to tell and listen to a plethora of stories, what did you do this Christmas?

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • We just went to the cabin and... chilled? We just chilled there and did the basic christmas stuff; eat, sauna, presents, eat, play games that I got for christmas and eat more. A very nice christmas. Our cat also liked the place.

      Posted by Embalistico

    • Well, that sounds good to me! simple not much planning easy and fun.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • tell me how it turns out

    Posted by Serenity

  • I *love* the polar express.

    Posted by BackSet

    • It is a movie that tells to believe in what you can't see even if it seems crazy, a Christmas movie my family and I watch every winter.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • Just to kinda follow up that previous conversation in the chit chat thread... we're never really against switching it up. Hard to tell where you'll fit in best If you can't see the clan. For what it's worth, you seem like you'd fit in fairly well in all of them, so you can't really go wrong. I pop into them all fairly regularly. Haha.

    Posted by Ty.

  • Hey there.

It is good to see you have returned.

    I hope all is well.

    Tead.

    Posted by Tead

    • Sadly I wouldn't say I've returned more...I can speak here every once in a while, I've been very busy these past few months and it's only going to get worse so I will always have little time here, and yes all is well thank you, how have you been my friend?

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • If you leave ZU, I'll leave for good. You're the only one who belongs to the same clan I used to be in (Farore), who still communicate with me as a close friend. I miss the frequent posters of Farorian Utopia whom are reluctant to post outside of the clans. I hate myself if anyone from Farore leaves me.

      Posted by N64

    • I'm sorry but I can't stay here forever it is beyond my power, but let me tell you this
I've lived long enough to know that when you lose something dear to you something that you miss, sometimes it's best to move on, I've been in many situations similar to this where I was kicked out of something that I liked, I've lost many friends in my life but I'm still holding strong, you may have lost those in Farore but you make it up talking to new people and making new friends, if you don't let go of the past you'll never fully enjoy the future, hell look at me I barely used the clans and I still had a lot of fun here, unlike me you are very important here with many who care about you, I'll be lost from here for most of next year because of work, when I return I want to see you still here and having fun, this place needs you more then it needs me, good luck my friend.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • Long time, no see. How've you been?

    Posted by Dr.Gazooks

    • sadly I've gotten very busy lately which is why I haven't been very active...well that and a few other reasons but mostly work...at least I'm married now so that makes me happy, enough about me however how have you been my friend?

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • Oh I am okay, my family is moving and as the date approaches, it's getting more annoying., but yeah, I think I am alright

      Posted by Dr.Gazooks

  • Aw shucks thanks! And you’re not a stranger I’ve seen you around! How are you liking ZU so far?

    Posted by Winnie

    • it looks rather interesting, everyone is very kind, I can see why Emerald enjoyed this place though I will have to say goodbye to it when he returns.

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • Hey man, I am the head admin of ZU and was just informed that you were told to change your avatar and sig by someone who is not on staff. I just want to inform you that you are free to use your previous avatar and signature if you so choose.

    Posted by Pietro

  • Your avatar & signature's logo... you could get sued for copyrights infringement because it is similar to a company's logo: Tradewinds Corp tradewindscorp.com/contactus.php

Their management saw your signature when I was browsing the forum in their office, and they asked me to request that you remove that logo which looked similar to their company logo from your signature and avatar.

    Posted by N64

    • I was more expecting to get sued from Nintendo for using that same logo because its the Smash Bros logo but I shall nonetheless

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • How about the avatar? :o

      Posted by N64

  • Okay, I need to ask... are you subscribed to the confession thread, and are you immediately running to reply to it after every time I post? :/

    Posted by Chel

    • I am subscribed to that thread but no on the second question, what leads you to think this?

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • It has happened the last eight or nine times I've posted in it, in a row. It just kinda takes the amusement of the amusement out of the thread when I'm only ever getting responses from a single person. o_O

      Posted by Chel

    • I see...I'll note that

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • No worries. I was basically just sort of like "...I need to check to see if this is a coincidence or not o_o"

      Posted by Chel

    • hm hm Thank you for informing me, Good luck Master Chel

      Posted by Emerald Isle

  • Hi, what do you work as?

    Posted by N64

    • What about them?

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • Are you a law enforcer too?

      Posted by N64

    • No, but I am currently working as a graphic designer...one of my more uninteresting jobs compared to some of my past jobs but its one of the most fun

      Posted by Emerald Isle

    • I see. I used to be a Graphic Designer and Portrait Artist before my baby arrived. GD requires much time and efforts (including at home!) so I switched jobs which I'm busy only during working hours & busy with my baby at home.

I guess we could be the same age range.
