Your username isn't a Doctor Who reference, is it? :3
I hadn't thought of it that way. It's just the initial of my first name and part of my last.
Have not seen you for a while.
How have you been?
Is 2019 thus far agreeing with you?
I hope so.
Hi Tead, sorry it's taken a little while to reply to you. I have been meaning to get online and catch up with people, I've just been busy lately. I can't complain overall, this week was the first week in a couple of months where I've had a decent break from work, and not had any volunteer work at my local school to add to it. Term starts back soon though, and I'll be busy once again. So, overall, I guess 2019 has been agreeing with me. How about you?
Sorry that it has been a while since last we spoke here, but I hope that we can now fix things.
How have you been?
What have you been up to since last we spoke?
Have you finished your book and the audio version?
I enjoy often reading your post, and I have fun in the Caption the Screenshot.
I am looking forward to talking with you and seeing you around the board.
Certainly, I hope that you have/had a very Merry Christmas.
I purchased for myself some games and went out to eat. I plan to also watch a movie and to get caught up on other things.
Take care, Thal.
Hi there, Tead. No need to apologise. I have been well, either doing volunteer work at a school or working at my other job in a hospital kitchen. I’m off to work now actually, so not much rest fit me.
The audiobook is still an ongoing project, and hasn’t been much of a hit, so I’m just trying to finish as quickly as possible. There’s still a chance it’ll take off but I’m not optimistic.
Hope you had a lovely Christmas and see you on the board in the new year.
Happy Birthday sailor! here's to another eventful year.
Happy Birthday Thal! I hope you have an awesome day!
Happy birthday bud! Have a good one!!
Hope you had an extra happy birthday yesterday!
Happy birthday! Have a good one!
Your posts are awesome and I enjoy reading them.
You're welcome! Mind if I PM a theory to you and ask your opinion?
I already put it in the headcanons thread
It's my new Twinrova theory.
Oh Lord. Are you into SSC Ultimate Aero?
Can’t say I’ve heard of it.
It's a car.
Hey, noticed you're a fan of Stargate! Awesome! That's my favorite Sci-Fi show, I liked all of them except Origins.
I didn't know Origins was a thing, but on seeing the reviews on it, I think I'll give it a miss. I loved SG-1, Window of Opportunity was probably my favourite episode of the lot.
That was a good episode. I like Citizen Joe, myself.
Thanks for nominating me for best conversationalist! I appreciate it!
Hi, how are you? I don’t think we’ve formally met though I’ve I’ve seen you on the boards often.
I see you read a lot of fantasy, do you like the Mistborn series?
I'm only up to the second book at the moment, but I like it. The magic system is quite unusual, but that seems a norm in Sanderson's writing. Personally, I prefer the Stormlight Archives.
Yeah I’ve been reading the Stormlight Archive too. It’s a huge project, it should be amazing when it’s finished
Psst... Do you happen to know when ZU will be starting their Casting Call for their Ocarina of Time dub? Or is that a secret to everybody?
I eagerly await it either way.
HI, MY FRIEND!!
Hey, how how are you going?
FINE, & YOURSELF?!
How have you been?
Worked any further on you audiobook?
Is it finished?
I hope that you have been well.
Hi Tead, I have been well but tired thank you. How has life been treating you? My audiobook has stagnated a little bit while I try and recruit people to voice act. I'm hoping things will start moving along this month. I would really like to get the last chapter out on November 21st... to celebrate 20 years of OoT in a nerdy kind of way. It seems a long time, but with such a long project, time goes quickly.
I hope that you have been well too. See on the boards; you'll have to excuse my tardiness when it comes to posting- I tend to browse around the forums and not get around to posting more often that not.
I'm not really into a lot of Forum games, but thanks for the suggestion.
I heard from the grapevine that it's your birthday today. Is it true? If yes, then happy birthday!
Thank you very much. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Thanks for nominating me.
I am hoping to go to see Star Wars if it is playing this month.
I will be calling home soon, and I have a Friend in Canada who I have wanted to call for nearly a year now.
It will be nice to speak with him again.
I have a new phone, so it will be a lot better than my old one to use.
I am just browsing the board for now though.
I will do my laundry soon because I have a lot to do today.
How about you, how are things with you?
Thank you for your nomination as well. I'm hoping to see Star Wars as well... though, I'm kind of nervous about who dies in the film. Have you been abroad studying for a while, I've only caught snatches of your conversations on the Forums as life has been very busy... I had an 8 week teaching practical for university that went rather poorly.
I hope you get to catch up with your friend soon. It's nice when you can keep in touch with someone after such a long time. I hope you like your new phone too... I'm thinking of getting an iPhone 6 eventually... kinda gotta my mind... iPhone 6 or Switch. I'll get more use out of the phone I reckon.
I look forward to seeing more of your posts on the board, and I'll try not to go AWOL so much.
Been a while!
Hey, I haven't been on ZU much because work and uni have been keeping me busy. How are you going?
Anyways, I've been pretty good. What are you going into?
I'm in my final Semester of an elementary level teaching degree. It's pretty tough, but it's enjoyable.
Nice! Don't be like any of the teachers I had in elementary school, okay?
lol. I'll try not to be. What were they like, out of curiosity?
How have you been?
I have thus far had a lot of fun listening to your audiobook! The story has been very well written, and even your voice sounds right for it. I imagine that your book will be a very nice read as well.
I enjoy your post, and I will look for you around the board,
Hi Tead? I'm not too bad, you? It's good to hear your enjoying the chapter. I probably won't be posting the next one for a little while as I gave some real life stuff that I've been procrastinating on. See you on the boards as well,
I apologize for it taking me a while to get back with you here.
I have been fine; I went through a time when I found it somewhat difficult to get caught up with some of my digital art projects, and other things. I finally have a good chance to get some work completed now. I believe that I will work on and finish my signature very soon.
Do you enjoy listening to audiobooks in general?
No need to apologize. Good to hear your projects are going well. I like audiobooks, but it really depends on the narrator. I can listen to a book with a decent narrator for hours while I work, so long as the book's interesting, but I can't stand bad narrators, especially those who make mouth noises close to the mic.
Yes. That does make a lot of sense. Too many noises spoil a good book, or even make a poor book terrible.
Do you have any favorite audiobooks? I am a member of an audiobook per-month service, and if you tell me a title of a book, I might either have it or can get it at less cost.
I would like to listen to an audiobook every night, I suppose. That is because I find that most of the time they are rather relaxing.
I am likely to listen to some of "Shogun" tonight. It is a very long audiobook, about 53 hours. When I was young, I loved the movie, and there was also a PC game that was largely text-based with an image occasionally. Have you read, seen, played the title?
I think that perhaps you will like it.
Thank you for the compliment, I do my best.
How have you been since the last time?
I am afraid I am not familiar with Shogun, but it does sound like its a mammoth read, maybe not a bad idea for long-haul flights. I can't really think of any favorite audiobooks, I have a few favourite narrators, a couple of whom have done acting in real life. The last one I really loved was the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb and Faithful and the narrator of The Name of the Wind (not my favorite story, but I think I'm of a minority).
I have been very busy, but doing well, so I can't complain. Thanks for asking,
Have you considered visiting the Role Play section?
I haven't, but I'll check it out.
Cool! I thought you be pretty good at it, seeing as you have writing experience.
Welcome to Nayru!
I saw the novelization of Ocarina of Time in you sig, did you write that?
Yeah, I did.
Cool! I've been novelizing different parts of Zelda games in a notebook for when I get bored. We have a writing section on ZU, would you be interested in doing a collaboration?
I'd love to. Unfortunately, I can't at the moment, as uni work and other commitments are keeping me occupied. I got very distracted when Breath of the Wild came out, now I have a lot of catch-up work to do lol.
