Happy new year!!! ^_^
Thank you! It's good to hear from you.
Same here! I watch the trailers, but...I don't read any of the spoiler-heavy interviews, and I'm not gonna watch the first 15 minutes of the game, which has been leaked. I want some excitement and surprise when I first play, you know?
Sounds like life has been the same for both of us--I'm super-busy, too. At least the weeks almost over! *randomhug*
HEY!!! I'm back from a two month break from ZU that I had to take due to a crazy school schedule, but, things have calmed down. I hope all is well with you--at least Comic-Con was great! My life right now is pretty much your basic college freshman stuff, but, other than that, things are pretty good. How about you?!
^-^ I'm pretty much completely back to normal, thankfully! Thanks for asking.
I'm glad! Hehe, don't worry, I've already watched all the Comic-Con Doctor Who trailers on YouTube. Did you manage to see any cool exhibits or anything (besides Doctor Who, I mean)? It's weird, but this is the first year in a long time in which I haven't actually watched the Comic-Con coverage on TV--I sorta forgot about it, unfortunately.
I just got back from visiting my family in Texas, which is always fun. The massive heat wave there though wasn't very fun--108 degrees for three days in a row was a bit of a damper. Do you have any more summer plans coming up soon? It's strange how fast the past two months of warmth have flown by, but, I suppose I'm ready for winter. Or, at least winter clothes!
EDIT: Oh, I'm sorry that I never replied to you on July 15--I missed it because you accidentally replied on your own page instead of mine: sorry about that!
How's it going? ^-^ Did you have a SNAZZY time at Comic-Con?
Hey! I was wondering where you had disappeared to! Yeowch, wisdom teeth removal, I remember that. Not fun x_x Glad you're feeling better though! ^_^
Yay! I'm a console gamer too, and the little bit I played on the 360 was fun. So yes you should get it for the console :3
Yes! Comic-Con is next week! I'm stoked! I took all of the days off from work; it's going to be a fun weekend I'm really cramming on finishing my Zelda cosplay now though lol. Oy, procrastination is my worst enemy.
So anything new going on? ^_^ Anything you want me to keep an eye out for at the Con?
Heya! I've missed chatting, but I had to have my wisdom teeth removed, thus leading to four or five days of uneventful bedrest. ^-^ How've you been, pal?
I actually recently bought Assassin's Creed, wanting to play this really popular game--but, I bought it for my PC, and I'm terrible at PC gaming. So, it looks like I'll be returning it. Hopefully I can just buy a console version, though!
So, I bet you're getting pretty excited for Comic-Con now, huh? Isn't it coming up next week?
That's true, as long as you get a good condition used one. I want to play Kingdom Hearts! I have such a list of things to do though lol... Like Assassin's Creed... haven't finished that one either, or Mario Galaxy... not to mention the other awesome 3DS games coming out soon.. I need more time! Where's my Ocarina..
Yeah it's neat to have a pass, because then you can look at eeevvverrything, and there are some things that are awesome that happen that weren't even planned! I really like talking to people while I'm there too, because it's one big nerd-fest Plus stalk--I mean, appreciating all of the Link cosplayers is fun too
Hehe That's what happens sometimes! I'll go into something thinking "meh" and then I'll watch it later and spaz out because it was so awesome. We saw the Mythbusters a couple of years ago; it was neat! If I find anything of extreme interest I'll be sure to let you know
PS2's better be cheap right now, otherwise they won't able to sell any. Plus, buying used makes it even less costly, even though it's pretty much the same quality as new.
I always record the Comic-Con coverage on TV, then fast forward through most of it, watching the good bits. The bad thing about that is that most of the good stuff isn't even shown on TV, you have to have a pass to see it! Last year I heard that Inon Zur, the composer for Dragon Age: Origins was going to give a speech, and I really wanted to see it--cameras weren't even allowed in...I'm pretty sure that I moped for the rest of the day.
If you go to that panel, you'll be like, "Oh, that was cool." Then, when you start watching Doctor Who, you'll be like, "HOLY BANANAS I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAW MATT SMITH AND KAREN GILLAN IN PERSON *crazy dance*" Trust me.
I bought a PS3 for the sole purpose of playing Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts (I've played other games, too, but they were my original reason for getting one), and then it turned out to be one of the new models, which isn't PS2 backwards compatible. I was extremely sad, to say the least.
Ha, well if it's any consolation, I'm terrible at guitar hero.
Oh, I will get to comic-con one of these days. Actually, probably next year! Well, hopefully... Oh, and don't worry about using tons of smileys, I'm not one of those who minds, I use smiley myself!
Good, I'll start badgering you about it if you never show me.
I love Kingdom Hearts, too. I'd better get off this subject, though, otherwise I'll go off on a rant about how they need to hurry up and make Kingdom Hearts 3!.......
Oh, I like writing, and playing/composing on the piano, and my favorite video game is Dragon Age: Origins. And I like [semi]long walks on the beach. ^_^ Oh, I just heard about the cast being there, I am so excited (I won't be there, sadly, but they'll be showing previews of new episodes to air in the fall. *weird little happy dance*). Plus, the cast of Torchwood, a Doctor Who spinoff which is nothing like Doctor Who, whill be there. Wait, will YOU be there?
Oh, I love it when people do a good cosplay of Aeris/Aerith (I've never played it either, technically, but I've seen tons of walkthroughs and love the game so much!), she's such a beautiful character. Ooh, I can't wait for the new Zelda cosplays to come out, I won't tell, just lemme know when you get it done, I would love to see it! ^_^
Hmm, I dunno. Have you ever been to A-kon, this big anime convention in Texas? She used to go as Axel and Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts, and went last year as Japan from the anime Hetalia. Not exactly sure who she went as this year, it was a girl from some anime.
Snazzy! Who do you cosplay as? I've never done it myself, but I have a good friend who cosplays and is actually pretty good at it.
Hey Sage, what sorta stuff are you interested in besides Zelda?
Yup! And, LA is the only Zelda game, I think, that I don't know the entire plot to. It'll be nice having something fresh. Plus, I haven't played OoT in a while, so the remake will be a nice trip down memory lane. *sentimental music*
I haven't gotten a 3DS yet, I'm gonna wait a few months until a few more games come out (like Kid Icarus and Star Fox), but when I get one I'm definately getting OoT 3D! I'm really excited about Link's Awakening being downloadable, too, I've never played it. Go windfish!
Anything exciting been going on, Sage? We joined on [almost] the same day, so we gotta stick together!
Its not easy being green.
Yup. I mean look what happens when we aren't careful. They make a whole video game series.
Why not? You're coolio to the downlow. Word.
YW. I feel us sages should keep connected
Aww thanks ^_^ Yep, I'm a Zelda nerd at heart. Always have been, always will. I'm glad you approve!
Hehheh, Sage of Hyrule, you're all sagey, and you're avatar is all, epona-ey, and... Yup, even if I could, I wouldn't make fun of you.
Hi, Sage! Enjoy the wonders of Zelda while not actually playing Zelda!
