Hey, thanks for the heads up about Celeste!
No problem!! It's funny, last year I was talking to my little sister and she mentioned Celeste and seemed really interested in the story, so I said she could play it on my Switch. She doesn't play games all that much and she turned the offer down saying how she wasn't good enough at games, but I told her about the assist options and how she could still beat it if she couldn't get through bu herself. That encouraged her enough and she ended up beating it in a few days without needing them
Haha just in case you were wondering why I care about accessibility!
That’s awesome! Congrats to your sister for beating it no assists too because that’s a huge achievement!
It yer berthday. Ave a gud won!
It woz, cheers!
Gud ta hare!
Many belated thanks! haha
Is that a Zork reference?
You are likely to be eaten by a grue Yeah I was playing through the series when I was re-themeing my profile a while back
Happy birthday, Advance123! Hope it's a good one!
Thank you kindly! It was
Stop making great posts, geez xP
Nevar >:^D Haha but thanks, guess we think alike on a lotta suff!
Mhm :3 it's cool~ Stick around, yo.
AND SOON AFTERWARDS, YOU DISAPPEARED ;___;
(welcome back xP)
Exams dude! I wish I could spend all my hours here but the adult world is snapping at my ankles lol
Oh, lol xD good luck! Adulting seems like too much of a chore x___x Wish you *did* spend hours here though =P
Hey! Looks like we both came back around the same time XD
Oh haha, you took a break too? I guess it makes sense that we'd get more Zelda urges around the time of BotW's release! Good to hear from some familiar names again haha
Seriously though. It's like a whole new world here. Have you played botw?
Yeah loads of new folk, good to see the place growing though, it did feel kind of tight-knit before. And yeah, I've put in quite a few hours too haha. Just working on finishing the last few sidequests. Yourself?
No I haven't had the time to really invest in it yet. I own the game though, so its only a matter of time before I truly break down and play it anyway.
What do you think of it?
I think it's great, maybe not the best to scratch that Zelda itch because of how far removed it is from past games, but definitely the best open-world game I've played recently. Super solid, you'll definitely enjoy it!
Welcome back to the forums! If I recall correctly I enjoyed reading your posts back then. Is it the same now?
Sure sure. It's no problem.
Coolio, I'm ready whenever you are. Gonna use one of my most common teams.
Hey, Showdown is a simulator that you can run through your browser. No need for transfering Pokémon onto your 3DS :]
Basically here: Pokémon Showdown! battle simulator
Eeehhhhh, I find exploration more fun when there's an element of intuition to it. Same with puzzles (it's certainly annoying to figure out how to figure out a puzzle). Unless they're going for a "surreal" sort of thing.
Intuition is the ability to understand something in an instant without thinking about. My ability to do that is obviously impaired in some way. We all have the ability to play a piano, but it doesn't mean we can all use that ability to the same effect.
Putting this here because I think we've discussed things to death in the thread: intuition doesn't really mean the ability to understand something in an instant, since intuition can be wrong. Intuition has more to do with forming a quick impression of something rather than an accurate one. Everyone has an intuition, what you're actually questioning is the accuracy of that intuition (and to be honest that's not your problem - contradicting intuition isn't something that game designers should make a habit of).
Nowadays, people ignore the extremely racist history and call it a day of food.
And it's still a holiday today. That's what I dislike.
It was based off giving thanks to the land found in the "new" world. It was a commemoration of genocide
It's typical to eat Turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes and green beans and whatnot. It's kind of a lot of random foods after Thai. I don't like the idea behind the holiday, though.
It's almost National 'Murica Eat Food Day. Or... Thanksgiving. For some reason, it's necessary to have the entire week off.
Just no school this entire week.
How are you?
I'm okay, just kind of done with ZU more or less, haha. Its been a nice couple of years but now it's just the same threads over and over again and I'm just like meh.
Does the Lord of All Pasta have a group here on ZU?
I see you have been touched by his holy appendage too.
That's pretty awesome!
Oooh. Why so well?
