  • Hey! Hope you're doing well. Thanks for being a member of my forum back in the day.

    • Hey, dude! How've you been? It's been like 10 years since you posted on here! I was actually just thinking about Heretic Gamer the other day.

  • Hi Kee,

Things have been going pretty well. I'm getting married in June. Been fairly busy with work and trying to catch up with family (my sister is visiting us this weekend). Definitely excited and hopeful for the next round of Nintendo reveals. How have you been?

    Posted by Bill

    • Getting married?! Good for you, man! Not much is going on with me. I recently broke my hand, so I'm mostly just counting down the days to get the cast off. Haha

      Posted by KeeSomething

  • rest that hand boi and stop typing!

  • why so angry bro

  • i see you have learned of the awesomess that is Bloodborne

    Posted by JP the Neurotic

    • Yes. Yes, I have. It's... like, in my top favorite games of all time. It's design is flawless as far as I can tell. It's up there with Super Metroid, in my opinion.

      Posted by KeeSomething

    • i dont know if i would go tat far but its a pretty awesome game. finished the dlc for it not too long ago

  • Happy birthday my good man.

  • Hey hey, one of the only familiar faces I can see on here!

  • You not feeling Mario Odyssey?

    Posted by Mirren

    • The first thing I thought of was Sonic '06. It'll no doubt be better than that game, but to me, it's clear that Nintendo is creatively bankrupt with Mario. "For the next game... Mario is.... uh, he ends up in the real world!" That's the impression I got from the trailer, anyway. Good for them for going with the SM64/Sunshine design style again, though.

      What do you think?

      Posted by KeeSomething

    • I'm excited. I don't know if I like the look of the real world city and humans, but the platforming and open-ended possibilities of a sprawling metropolis are pretty awesome. The more fantastical levels in that last trailer looked bitchin'. I really love the Mexican-themed village. I think it has the potential to be just as monumental as Mario 64 and the first Galaxy were.

      Posted by Mirren

    • Hopefully! Mario could use a game like that, but my interest in Mario series is pretty dead now. I am happy this Mario game actually gives the worlds you explore context instead of being lazy and making everything a floating world with clean, geometrically perfect floating platforms and hills.

  • :D

  • Now we probably gotta wait 5-6 more years for the next Zelda :(

    Posted by Xenon Moon

  • You must slow down MUH BOI

    Posted by Xenon Moon

  • Im curious, how many hours a day did you play this game since release? XD I've been trying to pace myself, and just hit 38 shrines finished.

    Posted by Xenon Moon

    • I don't know. There's no way to track time in the game, but I keep saying 30 hours.

      Posted by KeeSomething

  • It's cool lol. I got some catching up to do, I've been exploring so much!

    Posted by Xenon Moon

  • You've beaten 30 shrines already??? What the hell? I've only done about 11!

    Posted by Xenon Moon

  • NOO A GUARDIAN KILLED MY FIRST HORSE!

    Posted by Xenon Moon

  • How you liking it so far? I'm loving it. Just got off the Plateu and exploring now.

    Posted by Xenon Moon

  • Eh? Now you won't be surprised by as much. Shame on you!

    Posted by Xenon Moon

  • You've forgotten my user name, and who this is haven't you? :P

    Posted by Xenon Moon

    • Brandon! I've accidentally gone out of my way to read and see spoilers. I'm ready for this game to finally be in my hands.

      Posted by KeeSomething

  • Seen any spoilers, or are you doing a good job of keeping away from them? I've seen a few unintentionally.

    Posted by Xenon Moon

  • Kee you are a kool dude jsut saying

    Posted by JP the Neurotic

    • Haha, that's not something I hear very often. Thanks, man! You're pretty OK, too. ;)

      Posted by KeeSomething

    • hahaha seriously though I think you're one of the people that make thisp lace great. But dood Im so hyped for Breath. I feel like they are hitting every note for my dream zelda

      Posted by JP the Neurotic

    • BotW is my dream Zelda game. It's what I wanted from TP, but goes far beyond anything I could have expected. The stuff I'm seeing with the physics engine really changes everything. We'll be experimenting and finding new things for years. Damn... I can't wait. I can't focus on anything else but Zelda, haha! Are you in the same boat at me?

      Posted by KeeSomething

  • Your impressions of RE7 is exactly what I was worried about. Im glad the game itself isnt bad but it doesnt seem Resident Evil. I hear any of the references to the lore are jsut dumb and forced.

    Posted by JP the Neurotic

    • RE7 is a great game. I enjoyed it a lot, but it's biggest flaw is being called Resident Evil 7. It could have been the beginning of a great new horror franchise. The references to past games are probably the worst part of the game, and it took me out of the experience every time I saw a reference to RE.

  • Ok, next podcast topic: (avoiding) spoilers before the launch of a new Zelda game. Is that something you have an opinion on? And if so, maybe Sunday?
(We didn't record a podcast last week btw.)

    Posted by Canyarion

    • Yeah, I'm going to actively try to stay away from any more trailers and gameplay to avoid trailers. The last one was enough! It told me everything I needed to know. And about Sunday, that may just work. I'm trying to get my work schedule changed so I don't work Sundays anymore anyway.

      Posted by KeeSomething

    • Cool. Let me know when you're available on Sunday. This time, Frank and I are both home in our afternoon. So any time in your morning or afternoon would be good for us.

      Posted by Canyarion

    • Ah yeah, do you have Skype?

      Posted by Canyarion

  • Hey, you wouldn't be available after all, would you? Like in 1 hour? Frank came home early.

    Posted by Canyarion

  • Hey, I used your art in my video. Can I link to you in any way, do you have a Deviantart page or so?

    Posted by Canyarion

  • Kingdom Hearts has an awesome combat system. If there's one thing about the series, its that.

    Posted by JP the Neurotic

    • Eh, I gotta disagree. I find it too basic and repetitive. Controlling Sora also feels super sluggish to me.

      Posted by KeeSomething

    • really? haha i gotta disagree too but to each their own. I reallyl ove the feel of the combat--especially in 2 when you can jsut transition to aerial combat and pull of crazy finishers.

      Posted by JP the Neurotic

  • I saw that you are playing RE HD. That game is basically perfect imo haha

    Posted by JP the Neurotic

    • Definitely! Not only is it the best remake ever made, it's one of the greatest games of all time! Since RE2 is my favorite of the original PSone trilogy, I can't wait to see how RE2make looks. I hope it gets the same attention and care that the first one got.

      Posted by KeeSomething

    • I hope they do a good job but its hard to have confidence in capcom these days. I played RE2 for the first time last year and it was awesome still holds up pretty well imo

      Posted by JP the Neurotic

  • I like your facebook posts and now I'm saying hi here.
