• Just wanted to say, I love that your avatar is Velvet from Odin Sphere! OS is one of my favorite games of all time <3

    Posted by PrinnyOfTime

    • Yay! It always makes me happy when someone knows where it's from. I got quite obsessively into Odin Sphere when I first played it. It's a very special game to me.

    • Did you play Leifthrasir? It's so freaking good IMO!

      Posted by PrinnyOfTime

    • Yes, it's an excellent remake because it's so much more than just a remake. It was already one of my favorite games, and they improved on it. There's quite a lot of people who discovered Vanillaware games later through Muramasa or Dragon's Crown, so when Leifthrasir came out I really enjoyed reading all the "wow, I didn't know they made a game like this" impressions.

      Posted by Traeh

    • Right!? And I definitely appreciate that they also kept the original game as an option as well. It's honestly the best remakester I've ever seen or played. More games need to do stuff like that! Speaking of, did you hear Dragon's Crown is apparently coming out on PS4? I'm super excited for it! I might even import it just because haha.

      Posted by PrinnyOfTime

    • Yeah I heard it's coming, but I'm probably going to skip it unless I somehow manage to find three other locals who are into it. I've played through it before as one of the characters in single player and while I didn't dislike it, it kept screaming "hey this isn't multiplayer, you're not playing as it's intended" at me so I couldn't enjoy it as much because I had to ignore those taunts all the time.

I'm way more interested in the new Vanillaware game that's coming up, even though we don't know much about it. They released a trailer for it quite recently.

  • Hello Traeh,

I see that it is your birthday; I have decided that that is a very good time to introduce myself here.

I hope that you have an excellent Birthday, and that you take very good care of yourself,
    Tead.

  • Pssst, you can finally have an entirely blank Custom Title on the current forum software. Just leave one space and you should be good. Though it may default to something else if you're ever placed under a special member group.

  • German is a very difficult language, isn't it? :)

    Posted by Mangetsu

  • Ay, you're from Finland :3 My name is Fynn :D But I'm not from Finland but from germany ;)

    Posted by Mangetsu

  • Aaah never mind, I decided to make it for the whole of E3. Chances are big one of the 4 Twitch presentations is for Zelda U. It would be sad if people would lose points because of that.

    Posted by Canyarion

  • Hey, question. Should the Bingo predictions just be about the Digital Event presentation, or the whole of E3? I bet we'll see more after the presentation, maybe through a playable demo...

    Posted by Canyarion

  • Yeah Finn can kill with just about anything. And Tristis sort of takes Norah's place but I don't think he was as useful.

    Posted by ZorroMikau

  • I didn't use Gen a lot admittedly. Norah had the best support moveset though, until that stuff went down.

I'd usually have Aurora, Finn, or Oengus out with someone supporting them, or in Oengus's case just dealing out damage.

  • Hahaha rhyming stuff?

Which character is your favorite so far you think?

    Posted by ZorroMikau

  • ME TOO I didn't think of that but it does have a fairy-tale like feel.

And I think it's pretty good most of the time. Did you just rhyme mess and confess on purpose? XD I guess the rhyming just ads to the fairy-tale like feel and I like that x3

    Posted by ZorroMikau

  • I haven't played the DLC yet DX I have it for the WiiU and I don't think I can get the DLC on it.

But I really love how just about everything rhymes. It makes everything better in some weird way XD

    Posted by ZorroMikau

  • Hey I noticed you're playing Child of Light? I just finished it today. :D

And I have to agree with you in the "what are you playing" thread, the battle system is AWESOME :D

    Posted by ZorroMikau

  • Hahahaha I did not just make that thread so I could say "loves loaves" in a sentence. I actually had trouble coming up with a good title then was like YES PERFECT XD

    Posted by ZorroMikau

  • No problem.

  • I don't know if anybody's taken the time to tell you yet but in WWHD after the first time you play the command melody, (after each reset), it only plays it back to you once. The rest of the time you play it and it immediately takes effect.

  • Oooh ok. I didn't know if it was a woman or something else that I wasn't able to see.
Well in that case, here's another one I found online a few weeks ago:
Ok, I see the penis, but I don't see the other thing. Is it a woman bending over? If not then I see Italy as her boots and Portugal/Spain as her head/hair
• You're welcome. And as for Paprika, if I find a link, I'll pass it on.

  • Hmm then I think you'd like The Far Side comic (it's a newspaper comic). They have a few comics that remind me of your second example (just not as graphic).

Thankfully I read the book before I saw the movie, because I hate the movie (especially the ending. It seemed like they were saying "Ok, we're not going to make a sequel, so we are not going to end in a cliffhanger"). But part of me just likes the first book, same as Ender's Game, where the first book was really the best one, and it just got weirder since then.

Inception was original, but a lot of people have been saying that Nolan got inspiration from watching the movie Paprika. Here's the trailer:

If you like absurd humor, then I have to recommend this video (it's a series of videos put together into one video).

I've only read The Golden Compass. The ending has intrigued me to continue however more books were on my reading list. Would you recommend me to finish the series?

I liked the movie Shutter Island, I didn't know that it was based off of a book. However, I shouldn't be surprised. Almost everything in Hollywood is being based off of a novel/comic book/video game/true life events. It's been soo long since I've seen something completely original.

  • I used to read the Perry Bible Fellowship too! And I understand, you like to read those small comics that people randomly make (no plot, just a character in a situation we can relate to. Like this one), or internet memes.

I know of a few webcomics that are like that. What are your favorite books?

  • Are manga/anime not your thing? That's quite alright, it doesn't suit everybody. What do you like then?
