Hey, we used to chat now and then back in the day so I thought I'd drop by and say hi. Looks like you tend to drop back in here periodically like I do, so I'll just leave this here and you can see it like a year from now, lol
Hi there! Noticed you in Nayru and I feel awful that I didn't welcome you! Especially since you're my fan...just kidding!
Hello! lol well thank you for coming by! It's been a long time since I've been on, have we been acquaintanced previously? If not, please to meet you!
I don't recall meeting any fans of mine before. Eee hee hee! And the pleasure is mine.
Hey. Didn't you used to live in North Carolina at one point, back in the day?
No, sorry. : /. I live in Alabama though, if that's what you are thinking?
Oh. So you've live there all your life then?
Nope, moved around several different places. How about you?
huh, youre back. or maybe you never left. hi
Hey! Yeah, I left for a while, but I think I'm gonna hang around again. How've you been? It's been so long, trying to rack my brain to remember everyone lol.
Nah, fuck zombies when you have a great mansion to live in
Haha, thanks! Yeah, Gurren Laggan is awesome.
Haha, I design a house as well. And yes, Victorian architecture is awesome. Though my dream is to build a house like in RE1 and live there. Just to admire it. And have morning coffee on both western and eastern balconies, changing from one to another for variwety
Whatever people call them, I love seeing different architecture and different ways people build, essentially the same, apartments. I like the old New York architecture the most from what I've seen so far, as far as urban surroundings go.
That's actually a far more secure plan, and I have a lot of trust that you will find a job in three months, that's so great.
Haha, actually I say apartment cause I was raised on American English and played games that are often set in the US (for instance, I always liked the expression "apartment building" from Silent Hill 2, it sounds so descriptive and true). But I talk a lot with Sam and other people from Europe and they use the word flat, so I kinda adapted
"In England most houses are at least two stories tall, as opposed to an apartment where you take a "flat" slice from a tower block.
The terms have the same meaning, although apartment tends to be used (at least in London) to describe larger, airier accomodation. Flats a beginning to hold the connotation of something slightly cramped or dingy."
That's from the Yahoo! Answers page where I found out why it's called "a flat" in the UK when I was curious :3
So what is the process in your case? What do you search for first, a job or a flat? Or do you save up money, get a flat paid two weeks in advance and hope to find a job in that time?
Ah, I thought that you're working for one of those bigger companies that have a store in many places :/
Ah, suckage man. I was hoping that you'll work for the same company, only in a different branche
It's hard to find both a job and an apartment in a new place at the same time, is that the problem?
Isn't it easier to move aroun the US than Europe?
I live in Serbia, remember?
I'm mostly sitting on my ass cause that's the kind of job I'm doing now. Dispatching trucks in the US, I spend most of the day sitting in front of my PC.
Where are you moving, to another town or just to another place?
Same here *high-five*
Only my first day off is in two weeks, since the end of July
Nothing, I was just wondering where are you and how are you :3
Playing, working, not much else
