how've you been brah?
Sailboat! I've finally found you (on my friends list). I hope you're doing very well for yourself. Myself, I've had a bit of a return to this place, can't help but get a little nostalgic. I miss you and your mass effect avatar. Anyways, I hope I can hear from you soon and we can talk, buddy!
Gr8 to hear from you. I too am drawn by nostalgia to this website, I spent a good deal of my formative years here. Mainly I'm here to dig up my old fanfics and writing, what little of that there is has been enjoyable. I do miss the community here, and It's a nice feeling to see so many familiar "faces", but I don't think I have the time to really get as involved as I once was.
And yeah, I miss my mass effect avatar too. I should find that thing. Switching it to my smash main was surely a grave mistake. Speaking of which, where's your Zoidberg?
Sailboat, forgive me, I could have sworn that I had responded to you already. You found your old mass effect avatar! Boy does that bring back the old days of adolescence with little to no responsibility! I can't find any trace of my old Zoidberg set, but the whole Simba thing I have going is adequate.
Ever since I wrote to you, I've been decently active, but I creep more than anything and speak to people personally. Its funny, because I'm discovering "new" people to talk to here, but most of them are people that I never bothered talking to back in the day.
I was just remembering back in Nayru when I decided to post some pics in the scrapbook one day and you proceeded to make a post about having a few pounds of strength on me, hahahah! And you spelled "great" with an 8? You noob.
I went on to study music and I now sing classically. I've been to start getting some paid gigs and sing in opera, but nothing too big yet. That's about whats been happening with me. I'm so happy for the miracle of seeing you still around.
That's really cool that you went on to be a classical singer, congrats!
I'm really sorry about that sophomoric braggadocio by the way, I wasn't the most pleasant forum user back in those days
It’s okay, neither was I. May I ask what you’re up to?
Oh, we will have one. Tabby will be sitting on I'll be going to her for mods and thoughts about things. So I'm hoping it doesn't get bogged down.
And yeah, I'd be fine with looking over it. I'm probably going to play anyways though.
There's been a bit of change, mainly in rules and clarification though. Plus I rewrote the OP, since it had been in use for forever. It's still mostly the same, though. And not play Wind Waker shouldn't matter I've never played Majora's Mask and I kicked everyone's ass in that game.
The main gameplay difference this game though will be the naval warfare. It's subsidized, like a lot, to make it easier. That and your armies kind of have to built with the navy in mind, and almost every single battle in the game will revolve around your navy.
Aw, come on. It's gonna be completely different, because it's naval based now! I cut land projects a lot, limited tech, and added naval projects as a thing haha. You should check it out.
Uhh, off the top of my head the only 'veterans' are me, Bolero of Fire, Fastblade (kind of, he sucks), and Zoraluigi. There's also a newcomer, Chad, who was in the last game, and Kol who was in the last three. Tabby is watching how this goes, so she might participate in the next one and Uzuki Cheverie is supposed to join up as well.
boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat boat
also we're having a Land Wars starting soon if you wanna join. Wind Waker themed, three bases are still open~
Alright. Since you've still been coming on ZU, unlike Fastblade, I'll let you have until Week 72 (a full 20 weeks since your last update), or until you drop off of ZU completely
I just started work and football myself, so I'm busy too. Hopefully you can get everything sorted out.
If you don't update soon then I'm gonna start the process of annexing you.
Your lost update was week 52.
Yeah sorry mate, this is my first real forum-based RP so I'm kinda shit at all this. If I slack off again don't hesitate to yell at me.
Actually, the 50 men operating the ship also include the cannoneers. There are 10 men who are piloting the ship (making it move), and 40 men firing the cannons (2 per cannon), so 20 cannons.
and it would only take 25 Raken, assuming I had 1 Fog Mage per Raken.
I have Raken coming in from Tear itself; the Raken who are at the island already would be doing that.
Yeah, they still rock :p
Reinforcements would have gotten there before Conman did, and the fog would be too.
they're flying around the fog keeping it up. if they're shot down the fog will dissipate.
The Draghkar are doing it, and they're going to seize people above deck. Once they are under their control, they will go below deck to avoid the Arrows of Fire.
totally 3rd bro
this game shall now be known as DINgeons and Dragons
That comment... OMG xD
...*looks at strategy*...:coffee:...O_O...-_-;;...*changes "Hydro" to "Gyro"*...
Sorry about that.
Cool! I've never really been over at the role-play section of ZU, but the people over there will probably make the game a lot more interesting. Maybe, just maybe, I can find someone who likes to role-play as dead Austo-Hungarian emperors from the WWI era--and then the Central Alliance can be reborn!!!
...hmm...what if I play the Conarian stockmarket? I could recruit Gordon Gecko! I could have enough money then...right?...RIGHT?!
By the way, were you going to start KoC after the current LW ends, or were you actually going to start it sooner? I remember you talking about it earlier, but I can't recall what the verdict was.
Why thank you. I have found that when my battleships aren't shrouded in a thick and unforgiving *cough*shadow spherery*cough* blanket of darkness, they can be useful!
Btw, because I never replied to it, I like your idea of flying units being made a bit more difficult to get in KoC. I just hope floating armadas aren't too expensive though!
...oh.........well crap! O_O...:P
At least I can amend my attack on Salubria and Tear now though. Things just got a lot easer...
I know--but I don't have any grape-shot. :\
Nope, I am safe! But how sweet of you to warn. Aw.
...WELL!...WELL!...O_O............oh...alright...I guess knights on the ships would have been easier...-_-;;...(stinkin' lizards)...
They were pretty cool. I just wish I could muster up the courage to recruit flying units for once...but I have other plans! Plans that, perhaps, my Etonian allies would be willing to help with...
It's based off the game "Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga" (1 and 2). Although for some regions its called "Shin Megami Tensei: Avatar Tuner" instead. Not really sure why.
Its a spin-off of the original series, actually there are more spin-offs than actual sequels.
That's not such a bad idea. It's a lot better than my rule that, when you invade an abandoned kingdom, the mod has to play out a standard defense. -_-...:P
And I just realized an even better way that I could have countered your lizards--the absence of heat! Your lizards would have been cold-blooded, so if I was just able to find a way to freeze Solitude Bay, they would have fallen asleep before they even reach my first ship!
