All this talk of the Fire Temple stuff brought back some memories. Yeah, I agree, the og Fire Temple music was creepy, and so was the rework that opted for the Shadow Temple sounds instead. Heck, the entire Shadow Temple itself still gives me the jibblies.
@Zaynock It's always interesting and insightful to me to hear how Muslim people feel about the whole Fire Temple chanting/Gerudo Emblem situation!
Admittedly, though, I kind of miss the old Gerudo Emblem. In a way, using that harkened back to the ZI, II and ALTTP, where Christianity was clearly present both in-game and in the artwork, and it's got me thinking about the religions of Hyrule; i.e. how did, lore-wise, real world religions make their way into the world of Zelda? I love thinking about this things and theorizing, but I digress. I don't mean any offense to anyone; I just find it all fascinating.
Old Gerudo Emblem is more like a reverse Turkish flag then a Islamic symbol. But i don't think those religions had a part in Zelda history but instead were just inspired by culture by game developers.
