Saw Incredibles 2. Went to a late night showing so there were really only people there my age looking to relive the childhood memories so that was a good thing haha.
Display Spoiler The movie itself felt like it was missing something, and I can't say I liked it nearly as much as the first (though I suppose that's almost a given). I still had a good time though. The plot was also incredibly (haha) predictable and almost felt like a rehash of the first movie, though I did like some aspects of it.
Also, Bao was a cute short film. Everyone in the theater kind of started freaking out when she ate the dumpling though haha.
I enjoyed it myself. I agree that the plot was extremely predictable, but given it's a kid movie, that didn't bother me too much. One thing in particular I loved, was the animation on this. Maybe it's just I haven't seen a new animated movie in a bit, but I was in awe at how clean everything looked, especially when it came to the texture of things. I thought the addition of 2D cartoon clips was a nice touch. The fight scenes were all exciting to watch, especially the fight with all the supers.
