There is a famous caligraphist in Hyrule, who provides excellent quality letters for signs and posters, but he's horribly dyslexic.

Sheikah = The biblical Guardian and Watcher Angels.

They follow a similar path of being loyal servants to Hylia's chosen people. Some defected and were banished for it.

Angels were forbidden from taking human wives but lusted after them all the same resulting in their fall from grace. Paya's bashful behavior isn't because she is embarrassed it's because she knows it's taboo and could ruin her status as a sheikah if she ever acted on her feelings.

Headcanon: The old man in ALBW is a previously unseen incarnation of Link.

I feel that way too. But I thought the game seemed to be pointing at him being the Alttp incarnation since it's supposed to be a direct sequel.


Head cannon: Hylia and Odin are related to each other and given dominion over their respective realms of Hyrule and Asgard.

Hylia created the goddess sword and gave it to her champion. And Odin Created Mjolnir and gave it to his champion and son Thor. Both with the "Worthy to wield it" clause.

@MORPHRELINK Robbie's wife Jerrin is Hylian, Cado's wife Rola has traits from Lurelin village rather than other Sheikah and Kass's teacher was in love with Zelda but his problem was that she was the princess not due to race.

There's also Mils and Mina. Judging by hair, Mils is Hylian and Mina is Sheikah, but they're also brother and sister. (Zelda Wiki describes Mina as Hylian, but I'm not sure where they got that information.) It's possible that they're part-Sheikah, part-Hylian as well. But there are other possibilities, too.

Headcanon: The Stealth Set from Kakariko is actually in pretty common use in Hyrule, especially among adventurers and travelers on the road. We just don't see those travelers because... they're so stealthy.

This is canon, except they were never "mighty shields", they've always just been pot lids that Link happens to use as a shield.

Majora's Mask and the Fierce Deity Mask are not inhabited by spirits of demons or gods or w/e, but rather by Malice and Force.

Majora's Mask was used for hexing rituals by a dark tribe, garnering a lot of negative energy that eventually manifested as consciousness. This is not an uncommon thing in Japanese folklore.
We are never told there's a person or demon named Majora living inside the mask, and personally that interpretation, though equally valid, just feels boring and fanfictiony to me. The only thing we're being told about is the tribe, and the hexing rituals; I figure if there was really a demon in there, that'd be the bigger focus of the origin story.

Fierce Deity Mask was said by Aonuma to contain all the memories of the people in Termina. According to the game, it contains the merits of all masks.
The masks in Majora's Mask function very similarly to gratitude crystals in Skyward Sword and Force Gems in Spirit Tracks, as they are commonly rewarded by those you saved. Those feelings of gratitude are a source of power in the Zelda series, so it stands to reason that all of those feelings stored in the masks you gather would create a powerful artifact.
Furthermore, Fierce Deities are a Buddhist concept; those who attain enlightenment can save others by becoming wrathful entities that break all obstacles towards enlightenment. This is typically a state of being, not the idea of controlling a separate entity.
Link becoming a Fierce Deity, to me, doesn't feel like he's possessing someone's body, like Darmani or Mikau, but rather feels like Link's version of an anime powerup, gathering power from all the people in Termina in a Spirit Bomb style to activate his Bankai.

"Channelling the power of everyone you've helped to defeat the final boss" has been a favourite theme of mine ever since 2015, when I realised it was in Kirby's Dream Land 3. That made it my favourite video game for a while.

Since you mentioned Spirit Tracks and Force, I've had this headcanon for a long time that being able to see disembodied-but-not-dead spirits is tied to how magicy someone is. I wonder if it has anything to do with Force?

Whatever the case, it's irked me for years that Zelda's invisibility is never even handwaved, especially since it really doesn't affect the plot much beyond the first hour outside of a few optional jokes.
