I've always wanted dungeon DLC but now that we're getting it my first thought was "this should've been in the game day 1". Lol brains are funny things.
So far, from what I've seen, Nintendo is giving me exactly what I want.
In that case, I don't really care about the price, or if the game is 'Incomplete'
$20 season pass? Compared to the season pass for fallout 4? (Which is 50 dollars btw, and the DLC isn't good enough to defend the price IMO)
Please. This is a no brainer here.
Either you buy it or you don't.
And if you don't that's okay, I'll be extending the life of my game that Ive been waiting 5 years for happy while you don't while also being happy that you stuck it to those pesky devs that put pay walls in front of cut content.
which like I say before is not as bad as what Nintendo is doing here, I just think that people should be wary over what they purchase and how quickly they do it. It's their money true, I just don't want people to think they wasted it.
Also no. You said DLC pre-launch cuts content and that you don't want Nintendo to start doing that, but because of DLC, mobile, paid online, and DLC again you say it's not looking good.
Even if you said "guys be careful buying this DLC, because of mobile games, paid online, and DLC, I think Nintendo might start trying to swindle people" it still comes off as kind of weak.
I meant to add an (although not all of them are bad, it still suggests Nintendo is drifting in the direction that many more notorious companies have)
Also by the way, this is a fallacy fallacy, despite my point having a fallacy that does not mean the point is not a valid one to be considered.
Are you trying to drown me because I apparently offended you? You got something to say that isn't a long, extended "no u"?
Lastly, if I could not impact development so deeply, why didn't they include this stuff in the game or even a free update to the game?
I'm kidding. But I gotta stop you right there because: Well that's rather entitled.
But no really. Do you really believe that a thank-you bonus for buying DLC Packs 1 and 2 should be free to everyone? Isn't that super entitled to think?
The Day 1 is being portrayed as a bonus. A thank you for buying the DLC. It was easy to make content that could be sneezed out my armpit in the 2-3 months since BotW went gold to give DLC buyers a little something while they wait literal months for the actual DLC. It can't and shouldn't be added to the base game, otherwise it wouldn't be a bonus for buying Packs 1 and 2.
Base game already has a ton of chests, shirts, and loot. Go enjoy those if all you want is chests and shirts.

I can agree with what people have said about the vagueness. When all they tell us is "additional challenges," they might as well not be telling us anything. I won't be buying this until I know what's actually in it.
Personally, I do find DLC in a Zelda game a long time coming. You can't blame Nintendo for following market trends
as crappy as they are. Nintendo rarely under-delivers, so the DLC will probably be worth the money. Also, as shown with the DLC in Hyrule Warriors, DLC either added extra characters, more play time, costumes, and seemed to be fed off of what the customers asked to be added.
I'm wearily optimistic with the DLC. I mean, it's more stuff, but I'm of the mind that a $60+ game should be complete enough to not warrant DLC. To each their own.Property of Team Valor

Very happy about this news. Games are software. Software gets updated. Sometimes those updates are paid. That's fine as long as they're worth the asking price, and Nintendo's have been every time.
This'll be a day 1 purchase for me. (If I have time to purchase it on day 1, which I might not.)
Even though I'm not actually getting the game until day 6 or 7.
(Amazon free shipping.)
Can't complain about it since I'm planning to pirate it anyway.
^I wanna like your comment for hilarity, but I dunno if your'e being serious or not. lol
Finally what's the "useful items" in the dlc chest in Great Plateau?
Hey, does anyone know where the actual menu is to buy the DLC? They said March 3 and I've been through the estore. No mention of the season pass at all...[insert clever title here]
