    The Great Sage, Manuel
    • Name: The Great Sage, Manuel
      Nickname/Alias: Manny
      Age: 30
      Apparent Age: Looks around 25
      Sex: Male
      Race: Human
      Height: 6' 2"
      Weight: 245 lbs.
      Eye Color: Oceanic Blue
Hair Color/Style: Dirty Blonde; Long and braided, past his back.
Skin Color/Complexion: Tan, not dark or light, human.

Appearance: Manny has a medium muscular body build. He has a well-groomed Goatee, smooth face complextion with his Square-Style Glasses. He keeps his hair well combed and in braids, since it's long enough to go beyond his back and butt. When he's in his Sage form, he has his Staff of Sages in one hand, while having his Keyblades clipped to his back harness and his Wand of Sages at his side. He has Transitional Glasses that allow him to have sunglasses when he goes outside.

When he's not in his Sage form, he wears his favorite video game shirt that has the Hyrulian Royal Family Crest on it. He also wears over-shirt that's two sizes bigger than his size. He wears long Dickie Dark Blue pants with his belt on. He also wears a gangster's top-hat that's all black with no stripe around it. He also has a double chain that loops to hang past his pocket, then again to hang past his knee. He has six visible tattooes: 3 on his left forearm and 3 on his right forearm. On his left, he has tattooed: The Heartless Symbol, the Nobody Symbol, and the name "ZeldaGuardian". On his right, he has tattooed: a Black Heart, a Heart-Lock, and the name "The Great Sage". He has 4 other tattooes, but are hidden underneath his clothes. He constantly wears his rings and necklace at all times

His Altar-Ring, the Triforce Wedding Ring, and the Triforce Necklace hold major value to him. He carries with him a laptop-style bag that has his notepad inside. He uses it to chronicle his adventures. Though he's written many many times, it seems that the notepad looks to be never used before. It's said that he has an enchantment on it to never run out of paper; that when she shuts it closed and places it back in his bag, the writings disappear to a place that only he knows of. Also in the bag, he keeps a 20oz bottle of his favorite soda: Dr. Pepper. It's said that he enchanted it with an infinite spell of never losing its fizz and never running out. He keeps a couple pens and pencils with him to write with.

Weapon(s): His primary weapon is his Staff of Sages, a weapon bestowed upon him in a forgotten age. His secondary weaponry consists of custom made dual keyblades, the Wand of Sages, and his own fists (if necessary).

Armor: He wears a custom made Red, Blue, and Black Sage's Robes. Its magic protects him from most magic attacks and some attacks (like arrows and such).

Carried Possessions: He carries with him a few things. He wears many rings, but one particular ring has sentimental value and is apart of his power. He calls it his Triforce Wedding Ring, worn on the left Ring Finger. Though he doesn't have a wife with him, he still seeks to find her. He wears an old Knights Templar Ring from the 1600's on his left Middle Finger, two Skull Rings (said to possess both parts of his soul, though never proven true)(one on his left Pointer Finger and the other on his right Ring Finger), a Sage's Red Ruby Ring on his right Pointer Finger, and an altar-like ring, said to contain power that even he is afraid to unleash, on his right Middle Finger. He also wears a necklace that depicts what seems to look like the Triforce. It has three dots in the center of all three triangles, all different colors. The top triangle has a Ruby Center about 10mm in diameter. The bottom right triangle has a Sapphire Center about 10mm in diameter. The last triangle has an Emerald Center about 10mm in diameter. This necklace is something he calls the Triforce Necklace. It is said to be the 2nd part of his power. When not in his sage attire, he carries a laptop-style bag with him. Inside, he keeps a notepad and a couple pencils and pens for him to write. He keeps a soda bottle that has an enchantment on it: his favorite soda that never loses its fizz and never runs out.

Powers/Magic/Skills: Phenomenally skilled in magic (all types), the Master of Stealth and Stealing (though he's not proud of the thefts he's done), and Expert in sword-combat but always looking to learn more... Can cast dual magics (say attack with Thunder, while healing another teammate)... Uses the Art of Stealth and Invisibility for good and only stealing from enemies (if it will help)... If all other skills don't work, he will toss his weapons aside and will use his bare fists. Though not much skilled in Hand-To-Hand combat, he's willing to give it his all with bare knuckle brawls. If all else fails and he is left with no options, he will combine his magic and power into his Staff of Sages and his Altar Ring to use one particular move. However, be cautious to this move. See Side-Effects for this.

Limits: Hates to admit it, but does have a limit of how much magic he can use. As he gets fatigued, his magic won't be as powerful or do as much damage. If any of the 3 pieces of his powers are missing, his strength/power/magic will be reduced by 1/3. If none of his pieces are in his possession, then he becomes truly vulnerable and unable to use any type of magic. If without his pieces for more than 3 weeks, the power in them disappear and he becomes mortal.

Side-Effects: If The Final Tear has been used, it will obliterate anything and everything in its path, leaving nothing behind. The blast and damage diameter of his move is over 200 miles. After the move is over, he will be unconscious for 48 hours and after he wakes up, he will have to wait another 24 hours until his power fully regenerate. Though he isn't fully vulnerable, he is able to be attacked more easier than usual.

Battle Strengths: He's willing to be in the very front of the battle, ready to make the first strike. He will also do everything he can to help turn the tide and win. He will do everything he can, even if he's the last one alive and/or outnumbered. Able to use Dual Cast Magic, specializing in attacking and healing at the same time. If the battle is outside and storm clouds have gathered and unleashed rain, his power and focus becomes more heightened. Little is known if it's just psychological or if the rain actually adds to his power...

Battle Weaknesses: Will not kill, if there's no reason for it. He strongly believes in honor. No matter what, however, he will not kill a woman. Refuses to kill in cold blood, but if he loses his temper... He can go into a fit of rage and let his anger take over. In that state, he will attack anyone no matter them friend or foe. Tries to avoid fights with friends, but will fight if left with no choice.

      Other:
      1. Still searching for his Sages, as he was apart of a Team of Sages known as The Seven Sages.
      2. One of The Seven Sages is his Apprentice/Wife.
      3. Still has no idea where his family has gone, been jumping from one world to another.
      4. Enjoys having time to spend talking with friends.
      5. Conceals his magic from the outside world, only used when necessary.
      6. Chronicles his adventures into his notepad.
      7. Drinks his favorite soda on a daily basis.
      8. Always willing to help others.
      9. Tries to eat healthy, but Italian food and Steaks always call him back.

Personality: Manny is well-knowledged in certain areas of life, always using what he learned to his advantage. He's really out-going, but also knows when to be laid back. He sometimes plays the father figure, but he doesn't mind the role. He enjoys having friends around him and he enjoys having time to himself. He knows that he does have a slight anger problem and he does everything to prevent it from ever escaping. He's seen first-hand what his anger can do to someone, which is why he vowed to never let it happen again. There has been many occasions that he's almost fallen into temptation by other women. However, he's never cheated on his wife. Then again, he's had this on-going internal battle of if his wife is even alive anymore or not.

Manny tries to make sure no one can notice his internal battles, as he never wants to be a burden to anyone. He's easy to get along with, and will always give others a second chance. Though he believes that there's no second chance for a first impression, he gives everyone a second chance because he also believes that people can change. However, if he gets screwed again, he won't soon forget. He knows what it's like to be hurt (physically, mentally, and emotionally) and he tries to help console those who are hurt. He will be overprotective certain women, defending them like he was either a father or boyfriend. He does have a tendency to jump to conclusions at first, before being able to comprehend what is truly going on.

Likes: Stormy days, sitting outside and under covered places while it rains, eating food, writing, hanging out with friends

Dislikes: Being deserted and alone (phobia), being told to leave and never come back or that he's no longer welcome (makes him feel like a failure), women being hurt for no reason, when an enemy just won't die

Fears: Monophobia (Fear of Being Alone)

Virtues: Will help those in need, tries to do the right thing

Vices: Used to steal to help keep himself alive, knows how to break into houses without leaving a trace

      ~ History ~

The Great Sage has been around for many eons. Before the Creation of The Seven Sages, The Great Sage was a simple Sage-In-Training. He was training until he came into the possession of 3 relics that belonged to his parents. Once he placed on the Triforce Necklace, the Triforce Wedding Ring, and took the Staff of Sages in hand, he suddenly transformed into his Sage Robes that he wears today. Someone discovered it and brought him to the Council of Sages. They now know who was the true descendant. The spent the next few hundred years teaching him how to be The Great Sage. Within that time, he specifically chosen 6 others to join him, thus creating The Seven Sages. One of those Sages, he dubbed his Apprentice. Some thought that he chose her because she and him were in love, but she later proved everyone wrong by displaying her power and knowledge. As time progressed, the two finally decided to wed. He presented a ring for her, but she already had a ring... And it was the matching Triforce Wedding Ring that he wore as well. That's when Manny knew that it was fate that brought them together. However, just after their wedding was complete and everyone was rejoicing... War broke.

During the war, Manny and his Sages were on the front lines. Unfortunately, due to all the attacks from 3 different armadas, The Seven Sages had to pull back. The Council of Sages made a drastic decision to abandon their world. Manny and his Sages decided against it and went to access The Seven Scepters Room, but were stopped by their own Council members. They refused to let them access the Scepters, saying that they will corrupt them with the power that the Scepters possess. Trying to argue with them that this is the way to help turn the tide, the Council of Sages decided against it and disappeared into the room and shut the door. Within seconds, the room completely disappeared. Manny burst open the doors with his magic and found the room completely gone. Feeling abandoned by his Council of Sages, he turned to his Sages and told them that this is a losing battle... Without given a choice, they had to flee. They escaped into the Hangar Bay. With the enemies right on their tail, Manny decided to entrust his Apprentice with his Triforce Wedding Ring, Triforce Necklace, and the Staff of Sages. He instructed her to take it as far as she can. She didn't want to leave, but Manny made her leave, giving her a kiss and promising that he will find her again. After they left, Manny used what ever power he had left to make sure they didn't attack the ships. Manny didn't last much longer, given the fact that he lost his power. After he perished, their world was destroyed.

Many eons later and billions of light years away, the Staff of Sages laid dormant inside a broken down Temple. The Staff of Sages was found by someone, who was named Manuel. Once he pulled the Staff of Sages out of the pedestal, he suddenly inherited the powers of his ancestors. His Apprentice appeared in a Bluish Glow, giving Manuel instructions on what to do. Manuel took the Staff in hand and was ready for his newest adventure. Manuel soon had the Triforce Necklace and the Triforce Wedding Ring on as well. Manuel used the ship that The Great Sage's Apprentice used to escape to travel around the Universe, as he is now in search of his other 6 Sages... Thus, the Quest for The Seven Sages has begun...

Also, as a warning, starting later tonight no posts will be saved while the forum updates, so if we edit any posts we'll need to back up the posts by copying them into Word Documents and reposting them when the update is done.

      Now, the first section.

Skin Color/Complexion: Made to look like a typical human? What does this mean, exactly? Was his skin color chosen instead of being natural? Was he designed in some way?
    • Race: I tried to overthink it. It's just human, with the Power of The Great Sage.

Skin Color/Complexion: Again, overthinking it. He has skin like a human-being.

1.Alright, so first thing that really stands out. What are the fourhidden tattoos? I know they're not normally visible, but they'restill part of his appearance.

2.The Staff of Sages. What does it look like? What is it made of? Canit be broken? If so, how? If not, how?

3.Describe the Keyblade's appearance. Are they just replica Keybladeswith no special properties? Do they cut or bludgeon?

4.Describe the Wand of Sages, same set of questions as the Staff.

5.What do the Sage's Robes actually look like? What pattern do theyhave, what parts are what color? Is there a limit to the magic andarrows it can defend from, or not?

6.Do the Skull Rings actually hold parts of his soul?

7.What does the Altar-like ring look like, exactly?
    • 1. All across his back, he has a full back tattoo that resembles the Legend of Zelda Hyrulian Crest (that of the Royal Family Crest)... On his right upper arm, he has a saying that's written in his old Sage language that states "I'm bad and that's good... I'll never be good and that's not bad... There's no one I rather be than me."... He also has a tribal style cross tattoo on the back on his right calf, colors being black and red... He has a dragon that wraps around his entire left leg. The dragon resembles Shenron, with the Dragonballs on the top of his foot. Shenron's hands are open and it appears he's summoning the 7 Chaos Emeralds and embedded on his forehead is the Legendary Triforce. This dragon tattoo represents who he is the most.

      2. The Staff of Sages is a long oak-style (Elder Oak) staff. The Staff of Sages cannot be broken, because it's built with material that was created specifically for withstanding ANY type of attack, pressure of bending, etc. At the top of the staff designs into a dragon claw that's clutching onto a big jewel (about 20-25cm in diameter). The jewel's color changes, depending on the magic The Great Sage uses. The jewel cannot be pryed off or removed. The Staff of Sages is coated with a special magic that preserves the life of the wood and steel (an indestructible steel pole within the oak wood) and the magic cannot be taken off, by any means. Engraved along the staff is his name: "The Great Sage" and it's engraved in a white color.

      3. The keyblade idea was just a thing I once used. But I'm going to change that. The Great Sage actually wields two custom-made swords. The steel of the sword is made from a material that isn't known in this universe, but The Great Sage calls it Dark Platinum. The blade is Dark (almost black) in color, light as platinum (which allows easier movement and faster attacks), and indestructible to most attacks. However, the blades must be re-sharpened again after each major battle. The handles are made with dragon scales, allowing for the most grip for wielding. The handles are also in dark colors (black, red, blue) with a keychain at the bottom of the handle. The keychain is a trinket that can be changed out, but holds no significance or adds power to the sword. The trinkets that's equipped are Triforces, made of pure gold.

      4. The Wand of Sages is made of the same wood The Staff of Sages is, Elder Oak. It looks just like the Staff of Sages. The handle has a dragon claw that's holding onto a smaller version (about 5-10cm in diameter) of the big jewel. The color changes to what magic The Great Sage casts. Along the shaft of the wand, his other name is engraved in a white color: "ZeldaGuardian". The Wand of Sages cannot be broken, as it's made from the same style as The Staff of Sages.

      5. The Great Sage wears a easy movable shirt and pants. He also wears a belt around his waist, with the Triforce as his buckle. The shirt and pants are just a dark black color with red stitching. Across his chest is the buckle set that holds both his swords' scarabs on his back. The Great Sage wears a big cloak-style coat that can cover his entire body. The hood comes down to cover most of his face, except the lower half (only exposing his mouth and chin). The entire robe-coat is also a dark black with his names stitched into the arms, matching his forearm tattoos. The right stitching says, "The Great Sage" and the left stitching says, "ZeldaGuardian". On the back, a bigger stitching of the Hyrulian Crest goes all across, matching his back tattoo. The robe has two slits, where his swords go into. Inside the robe-coat contains a few pockets. The Wand of Sages has its own sliver pocket, making it easily grabbable. He also has two other pockets that he can store things in, like his phone or receipts etc.

      6. Yes, the Skull Rings contain both halves of his soul. As powerful as The Great Sage is, he knows that he also has an evil side. With the might of his magic and many many years spent meditating, he managed to split his soul in half, perfectly separating good from evil. He contained both of them inside his Skull Rings. The Red-Eyed Skull Ring (worn on his left pointer) contains his good half, while the Sull Ring with black eyes that seem soul-less (worn on his right ring finger) contains his evil half.

      7. The Altar Ring looks like what you would think an altar would look like. A long rectangle with small pillars that clamp around a Ruby, making the ruby look like the surface of the altar. The part that goes around the finger is thick enough to make sure the ring stays in place.

      1. What does the old Sage language look like? Is it a winding script, jagged, angular?

      2. Why is there an indestructible steel pole inside the staff if it's already made of indestructible wood? What happens if this indestructible staff is struck by, for instance, an anti-magic weapon of incredibly sharpness? If he's able to enchant his weapons with complete and total indestructibility, why doesn't he just enchant all of his belongings with it? Why not his armor, or his swords, or his own skin?

      3. How were the swords created if the material used is resistant or indestructible to basically every element, including heat? If they're that indestructable, why would they ever need to be resharpened? If he can make his staff unbreakable with his magic, why not his swords?

      6. Not really needed to edit for this section, but does having his soul torn in half and in these rings affect him in any way?

      7. The Altar Ring looks like what you would think an altar would look like. A long rectangle with small pillars that clamp around a Ruby, making the ruby look like the surface of the altar. The part that goes around the finger is thick enough to make sure the ring stays in place.
      7. Alright.
