What do you think they'll do? I think they'll do two collector's packs (one for Wii U and one for 3DS). The Wii U one would include all the console games (expect for maybe Skyward sword and wind waker). Its possible because the wii u discs have 6 times the space of a wii disc, and 16 times the size of a gamecube disc. The 3DS one would include all the handheld games (except ALBW of course). It probably won't happen but its cool to think about.

I have no idea why they celebrated the 25th anniversary. Think this: no SS in 2011 on Wii but instead in 2016 on WiiU. That would've been the best.
I'm thinking a new Zelda game. Maybe ZeldaU will be their celebration title? They can't whip up two home console Zelda games a year, y'know. Oh, and they definitely need to make a special edition 3DS and/or WiiU.

Actually imo SS should have been released in 2012 as a launch title for the Wii U. That would have gotten the console off the ground. Instead they decided to launch a new platform with no killer app and a confusing name. Oh well...

I'm guessing we'll get a new console bundle with Zelda U and I wouldn't be surprised if they were preparing TP HD, especially considering Zelda U was supposed to be ready this year and that way they would have a game for 2016.

Personally, I'm hoping they bring out Four Swords Anniversary again and this time for EU as well, please!

My guess for the 30th anniversary is that they'll release some super special fantastic edition of Zelda U that comes with all sorts of goodies... except NA won't get it. Unless you're at Nintendo World in NYC at the launch of the game where there are only 100 copies.

Since we've been getting so many remasters, I'm thinking we'll either get a remake of Zelda 1 (Metroid Zero Mission style) or a Zelda Maker. I'm not even counting on Zelda U being released in 2016.

I have 3 reasons for believing we may be getting a Zelda Maker:

a) We are getting a Mario Maker, so I'm sure Nintendo has at least dabbled with the idea of a Zelda Maker.
b) It's most likely a quick, easy, and costless project compared to developing a brand new Zelda.
c) Miyamoto's original vision for Zelda 1 was to have players design the dungeons.

If nintendo realese a TP remake , i would get (cause my copy got lost) but that would be a pretty uncreative idea , we have been gettin to many remakes lately .

I would like something really special . A zelda maker would be neat . But what about a new 3ds exclusive zelda game .

Cmon give me a reason to buy one of those other than xenoblade

And a new HH kind of book in the future its needed . I love to see the artwork and sketches from videogames . Though its way to soon to have another HH

I don't think they will do anything, really. They had their celebration at 25, so I don't see why they would do anything special for 30. A new Hyrule Historia with new artwork for Hyrule Warriors, Zelda U, MM3d, and ALBW perhaps?

Nope. I wish though. I dunno, we will probably get "Zelda U, the greatest Zelda evar" as our 30th anniversary present.

Mario got a 25th celebration (everyone remembers the 25th anniversary compilation game, right?) and is now getting a 30th celebration, themed by Mario Maker. I see no reason why Nintendo wouldn't do the same for their 3rd selling series right after Mario and Pokemon. It just makes sense.

And I mean, both Mario and Zelda remain some of the oldest, popular, continuing gaming franchises in videogame history. Taking the time to celebrate that every five years is kind of nice.

... I'm gonna start feeling old when they start celebrating the anniversary of Pokemon.

I dunno. I really don't see a zelda maker or anything really special coming out for it. I hope it does, but I think zelda u will be all.



I know how they will celebrate that. Satoshi will finally have a birthday and turn 11.

During the second movie it was he and pikachu's first anniversary, and he got pikachu on his birthday so.... yeah ash=immortal confirmed

With the delay of Zelda U I'm hoping Nintendo have it planned to give Zelda fans something super special for next year to both make up for the delay and of course for the 30th anniversary. So if its not too much to ask I would like..

• Zelda U - If it can actually make it for 2016.
• A new 3DS Zelda game - 2D styled like ALBW but completely unique and not based on older games.
• Hyrule Warriors 2 - I think this a perfect celebration game since it will feature many Zelda characters and hopefully from both 3D and 2D Zelda games.
• Four Swords Anniversary edition 2 - Because why not.

They'll just add it to ZeldaU in some cheap way like they did with ZeldaU.
