In case you have taken a look into the term with Hinduism in mind, the name Yuga makes actually sense when you look at Lorule and its inhabitants.

First of all, what is a Yuga?
The term Yuga in hindusim is the name of a age/epoch within a four age cycle. According to the belief, one complete Yuga encompasses the life cycle of one universe. At the beginning of the Yuga the universe is created and its inhabitants are enlightened and prosperous, but degenerates mentally and physically during the 4 epochs. In the last epoch, the demonic epoch, the Kali Yuga the universe is about to end and its inhabitants have almost lost all their virtues and are spiritually detached from themselves and from the gods. With the end of the Kali Yuga the universe is destroyed, but reborns in a new yuga cycle.

Here we see parallels with the Kali Yuga with Lorule, as their inhabitants also have lost their virtues and are detached from the gods, while demon rule over them. As for Lorule itself, is about to be destroyed by falling apart into the void.

Hm... Since no one answers, I assume I can add to Yuga/Lorule/A Link Between Worlds the hinduism meaning of Yuga in the trivia section.

That's an interesting bit of trivia! But it probably fits best on the Yuga page, since it's actually his name. I'm all for adding that in there. Go for it! =D

Okay it is done. I also made a little revision, by mentioning the hindo creator deity Brahma and the first age of Yuga, the Satya Yuga.
Also I am about to add in the discussion page the link to this topic.

Couldn't we have discussed it here before you did any changes?

I personally feel conflicted about it now. Why removing all the bit of trivia in my post?
Our wiki visitors are not fools, they can handle the information.

All GorMor did was trim out excess information. You can still understand the parallel without knowing about the specific yugas. Please remember that all edits to the wiki are subject to change without warning. If you would like to have the information re-added, you're more than welcome to use the talk page on the wiki.

In case you haven't noticed, but according to the latest news on ZeldaWiki, we have to discuss such things now here in the forum.

Actually, we still prefer to have conversations about making changes kept on the wiki. It makes it much easier to reference past discussions that way, instead of doing them all here. I don't discourage people from asking about things, here, but it's still nice to keep things organized.

As Justin said, all I did was trim down the trivia a little, I did not remove it, those are different things entirely. I personally think your bit of trivia is still trivia-worthy. It's just that there's really no need to go into super specifics and detail in trivia. Otherwise it still gets the point across.

And all Chuck was doing was updating the entire page so it'd be a little more organized overall.
