I tried joining you guys but it was a full room. And, of course, there's a communication error the moment I can get in. Now there's no one to join on my list.

My project wasn't difficult so much as it was time-consuming. That, and keeping track of all the parts and remembering where everything goes. I was amazed at how stuffed with stuff a controller can be!

Trying to get the gold wheels. Them staff ghosts can be brutal! Special mention to the ones on Bone Dry Ruins and Bowser's Castle. Thank god for the ability to download, view, and race against Miiverse ghosts! It was the only way I was able to figure out how to beat the staff ghost on Bone Dry Ruins. It's also a great way to learn the ins and outs of the courses.

I'm both pleased by the announcement (will be great for Gamecube Virtual Console!) and facepalming at the same time. People really need to let the GCN controller go. It's in the past. The Wii U Pro Controller needs more love. Though I admit it would be cool if Nintendo started making them again. Tired of expensive used ones.

I'm so pissed right now. Was really looking forward to getting the game at midnight. Called GameStop and they said they won't be doing that and I'd have to come in at 10 AM tomorrow. What's worse is that GameStop isn't exactly within walking distance, and my only ticket for getting over there was tonight. Who knows when I'll be able to get my hands on the game now... I don't get to brag about getting the game on launch night. This also makes me very sad. #firstworldproblems
