Potion Shops
Potions are one of the most important items in The Legend of Zelda franchise, as they aid you on your quest by refilling your health so you don’t die every five seconds. While incredibly useful, to access the items in the original game, there is a two-step process to go through in order to obtain them.
1.0 Getting the Letter
From the start screen, head right eight screens, up four screens, left one screen, up one screen, left one screen, up one screen, right one screen, and up the stairs to reach a cave. Enter it to find an old man, who give you the letter and tells you to show it to the old woman.
Because that isn’t a cryptic request at all.
2.0Getting Potions
The “old woman” is pretty vague, but there are actually a lot of different places that you can go to. From the cave, head down the stairs, left one screen, and up the stairs. Bomb the wall closest to the side of the screen to reveal a cave. Enter it, and show the letter to the old woman to unlock Potions.
Yay we can buy a thing to help us not die!
