Wind Temple: The Legendary Stormwind Ark
The Wind Temple is located in the Hebra region. It is the finale of Tulin of Rito Village, a Main Quest. Your primary objective is to activate five locks to open a central chamber and discover the source of a never ending blizzard causing trouble for the region.
Dungeon Notes

- This is an ice and wind themed dungeon. Bring plenty of flint and wood or other ways to create fire. Multiple optional treasure chests are encased in ice.
- As soon as you arrive, try to activate the lock to enable the fast travel point and mark the five locks on your map.
- The locks are activated by using Tulin’s Gust ability while facing the fan on the front of the lock.
- Before you start looking for new locks to activate, walk around the main area and defeat most of the enemies. There are Soldier Constructs and White Chuchus in the area that can get in your way as you travel.
- Be careful when gliding around the Ark. There are large cannons that target you as your glide.
First Lock
Look for two closed doors on the north side of the deck. Each one has a lever to open the door; you can use Ultrahand to move the lever. The lever on the right side is broken. Use Ultrahand to attach a nearby icicle to the broken lever. Then open the door to find the first lock.


Second Lock
Ride the large gust of wind in the center of the deck and then glide to the top of the north tower of the Ark. Use Ultrahand to open the large stone doors. Then, dive down into the hole and dodge the lasers. Use your glider to reach the lock near the bottom of the tunnel.


Third Lock
Glide to the northwest side of the Ark and enter Floor B1 through the large open window. Use Tulin’s Gust ability to cross the icy pit to the south to reach the largest room on Floor B1. The room is full of rubble and contains a Captain Soldier Construct.
Use Ascend to reach the upper part of the room. In the upper part of the room, attach a piece of rubble to the broken gear arm. Then, use Tulin’s Gust ability to spin the gear and open the door. Climb the ladder to reach the next lock.


Fourth Lock
Glide to the southeast side of the Ark and enter Floor B1 through the large open window that is covered in ice. Break the icicles to enter the room.
Use Recall on the large spinning wheel to reverse its direction. Ride on the wheel to reach the north side of the room.
Knock an icicle off the ceiling with an arrow. Then, use Ultrahand to attach the icicle to the broken part of the gear mechanism on the nearby wall. The door to the lock will open when the gear is properly connected.




Fifth Lock
The final lock is on the lowest portion of the Ark. The entrance to Floor B2 is difficult to see, but it is marked with a small light on each side. Glide down either side of the Ark and look for flying ships to jump on to regain stamina.
Once you are in position near the entrance, glide toward the entrance and use Tulin’s Gust ability to blow yourself on to Floor B2. The lock is in the center of the room and is guarded by a Soldier Construct.


Boss: Colgera, Scourge of the Wind Temple
After you activate all five locks, return to the deck of the ship and active the locks again to begin the boss battle.

This battle takes place above the Ark in the skies. There is a constant gust of wind in the area allowing you to glide, dive, and regain stamina easily.
The fight against Colgera has two phases, but both have the same objective. You need to attack three large purple weak points on the bottom of Colgera. You can hit them from a distance with arrows. The weak points are protected by ice that needs to be broken first. Three arrows will break the ice and damage Colgera.
The first phase of the fight is all about dodging Colgera as it flies around the area. Fall below Colgera to get good mid-air shots on the weak points. After all three weak points are destroyed, the second phase begins.



The second phase of the fight adds multiple new attacks. Colgera will disappear into a portal and then attack from below. Use Tulin’s Gust ability to help dodge this attack and give yourself a few easy shots at the weak points.
Colgera will also summon tornadoes and spit ice rocks during the second phase of the fight. Make good use of Tulin’s Gust ability and always keep moving up and down through the air to dodge the attacks.
