Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma has taken to the franchise’s official Japanese Twitter account to reveal more Twilight Princess HD information will be shared soon.
In the first three posts, Aonuma reflects on the game’s ten-year anniversary and its “story about the 2 worlds of ‘Light’ and ‘Darkness'”. He discusses how Twilight Princess‘ scale kept growing during the GameCube version’s development, and that many “setting scenes” were drawn; perhaps alluding to future posts that will share such scenes.
Aonuma does confirm both discussions on the game and “treasured” images will be shared via the Twitter account, but not by him directly. Instead, Twilight Princess’s own Malo, the “hero of prices,” will be revealing the information. He already looks comfortable with his role in the new art that was shared! But Malo warns he won’t forgive anyone for ridiculing his childlike appearance.
Twilight Princess HD will be released for the Wii U on March 4, 2016 and will include gameplay changes as well as an HD coat. Releasing alongside it is a Wolf Link Amiibo that is rumored to open a new dungeon called the “Cave of Twilight.” We’ll bring you more information on the game as Malo confirms it.
