Nintendo are giving fans the chance to be the first members of public to play The Legend of Zelda for Wii U.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 11 at the Nintendo’s New York store. The first 500 fans in line when the store opens at 9am will get a wristband guaranteeing the opportunity to play The Legend of Zelda at the store between 6/14 and 6/19. The line can form no earlier than 7 a.m. Photo ID is required, and minors will have to be joined by a parent or guardian. If you get your hands on a wristband, swap it for a ticket with a designated date and time to return to the store, with a photo ID, to play.

Even if you miss out on the wristband, all fans are invited to Nintendo NY starting at 12pm on June 14 to watch Treehouse live streams and gameplay of The Legend of Zelda direct from Nintendo’s E3 booth on the store’s 15-foot screen! You can also watch gameplay demonstrations and join in with The Legend of Zelda trivia to win exclusive limited edition prizes until the end of the event on June 19!

Nintendo have shared a facebook event page in which you can find all the details.
