Great news for manga readers and Zelda fans: Viz Media, the publisher behind Akira Himekawa’s Legend of Zelda manga, has announced that they will be re-releasing the books in new “Legendary Editions.” These omnibuses will include two books each and will release every two months starting in November, for a total of five collections.

There are few details about what makes these editions special, but we know the MSRP is $17.99 US/$21.99 Canadian and the books will offer a “comprehensive new way” for fans new and old to enjoy them, according to senior editorial director Beth Kawasaki.

Amazon already has the first book up for pre-order, which collects parts one and two of the Ocarina of Time manga. Additionally, they have the second book up, which brings together the two Oracles manga. The latter is slated for release in January. I’ve already pre-ordered my copies. Will you be doing the same?
