A Link to the Past has one of the most classic overworld maps of any game to date, even a little over 20 years after the game’s initial release. The map is so beloved by fans that Nintendo decided to re-create it in stereoscopic 3D for A Link Between Worlds. Now, the map has been brought to life in HTML5.

Powered by the jadsds engine, the map (and I mean the entire map) is in continuous motion with various characters, monsters, and setpieces constantly on the move, 24 hours a day.

Ever wonder what a day in Hyrule would be like? Look no further than this incredibly accurate re-creation of the world of A Link to the Past!

    I love that map.

When I checked it out, the map loaded but nothing was moving at all. :/ Not much was even on the map besides the map being there.

Was also slowing things down quite a bit, but dunno if that has anything to do with it.

it was fine when I was on it. maybe it’s because it was getting so much traffic.

apparently the site is temporarily down because of all the traffic it got!

Well, that would explain a little. xD; I tried getting there again and it wasn’t loading anything at all.

Weird. Now I’m just getting some really huge black rectangles all over the map.

I think we broke the site…
