According to a Nintendo customer service representative, the Hyrule Warriors retailer-specific costume sets that were available as a part of pre-order promotions for the game will eventually be released as downloadable content. Although there is no set release date as of right now, all three costume packs will be released some time in the near future (though the representative could not provide a specific date). The costume sets include skins for Link and Zelda as they appear in Skyward SwordTwilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time.

Hopefully this information proves accurate, as fans have been yearning for the ability to own all three pre-order bonuses from Hyrule Warriors!

    Very welcome news!

I kind of expected it to happen given the history of DLC for warriors titles, but it’s been months since the game came out and I was getting a little nervous that it wouldn’t happen.

    I’m glad about that.
I also want to point out that Toys R Us didn’t honor my preorder for a free amiibo. I had to buy the amiibo at 1 dollar off instead of getting it for free, even though I had the receipt and the card the hole-punched for Link. The total was over $79!

I think you can sue them for that.

    Dammit, hurry UP!!
I thought we’d get it after the Ganondorf bonus expired. Nope.
Then I figured the first DLC pack’s release would herald the extras going up for sale.
    NOPE.
Now I check EVERY WEEK and feel the crushing disappointment of a distinct lack of costume packs.
    I NEED those costumes.

THEY ARE READY TO GO, GUYS, JUST LET US BUY THEM.
WHY DON’T YOU WANT MY MONEY??

Does this include the Demon King pack as well?

forgot how exactly we were to get the gannon costume. when I loaded up my preorder skin pack and didn’t have gannons alt skin when I got to him, I first thought it was because I didn’t have him yet when I installed the dlc. then woundered if there was something wrong with it. glad to know though that it was just Link/Zelda skins and the gannon was a separate thing I missed, but can now get later. (along with other Link/Zelda skins :D)

Wish I had a WiiU so I could play this game
