Nintendo will be teaming up the subscription-based service Loot Crate to deliver their new Amiibo figures to members starting this holiday season. Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Pikachu and Mario are confirmed to be part of this package, with several more characters yet to be revealed.

Loot Crate CEO Chris Davis commented on the collaboration, “We are honored to be working with Nintendo — a company that our team loves and respects, and that many of us grew up with. The iconic Super Smash Bros. games have brought people together for years, and we’re excited to become a part of that story in a new way through our Amiibo Subscription Service.”

Loot Crate ships out mystery packages to their subscribers (known as “looters”) once a month. These boxes each follow a theme, and are filled with products related to the gamer lifestyle, including toys, snacks, art and T-shirts produced exclusively for Loot Crate members. You can find more information about their subscription services here.

Loot Crate often encourages members to share their monthly items on social media, which would prove a worthy marketing plan for Amiibo figures. Nintendo is also said to be working with Loot Crate on additional exclusive content for fans so keep on the lookout for updates in the near future!
