Nintendo has announced that a Hyrule Warriors demo will be available at select retailers before its September 26 release date in North America. You are given the choice to face off against the armies of evil as Link, Princess Zelda, or Midna, and are given the opportunity to challenge the classic Zelda boss King Dodongo. Nintendo says that the availability of the demo will vary by location, so it would probably be wise to contact your local retailer before going to try the game out.

What character would you like to try out most in Hyrule Warriors before its release?

  • Duston D. Scott

I just tried it today. It was really great and smooth gameplay. Can’t wait to try out the full game in a few weeks.

      Where?

I played it at a Gamestop.

YOU’RE SO LUCKY! I pre ordered it, is it really that good? 😀

I’m not going to say it was revolutionary, but the demo was fun. I tried all 3 available characters, Link, Midna, and Zelda but it was all the same level. As I stated, the gameplay was smooth, combos are seamless and fun, and the end of demo boss, King Dodongo was a joy to fight. Running around the area just fighting off wave after wave of enemies was thrilling, it actually felt more fun than any Dynasty Warriors game I’ve played in the past. If this game is anything like the demo, I think it will be a fantastic addition to Nintendos list of games.
