Last week we learned that three Ocarina of Time characters would be playable in Hyrule Warriors: Ruto, Darunia and Sheik. While the former two have already been featured in their own character trailers, Sheik takes center stage in the latest video.

While taking on a more feminine look than the character did in Ocarina of Time, Sheik retains an air of mystery and confusion. The video begins by paying homage to a famous scene in Ocarina of Time, where Sheik jumps from a dead tree on Lake Hylia.

Princess Zelda, in her Sheikah disguise, blows through hordes of enemies in the trailer. Using her harp, she casts magical attacks based on the elements of the sages. Sheik plays the Nocturne of Shadow on her harp to summon a haze of dark shadows that sucks in foes and prevents them from moving. Playing the Song of Storms, Sheik conjures a swirling cloud around her that zaps any Stalchild that gets too close.

The Bolero of Fire places a fiery pentagram on the floor that ignites enemies that wander into it. The Sheikah warrior can also throw blazing boulders that come crashing down, and send a column of water to wash away enemies. Towards the end, the Prelude of Light is used in a powerful attack full of brilliant energy.

Sheik also comes equipped with a ton of knives. At lightning-quick speed, she throws the blades into the masses, and with meticulous skill she slashes at monsters within her range. Sheik has the acrobatic skills of a true Sheikah, jumping high and pouncing hard with the same vigor seen in earlier screenshots.
