Heads up Smash fans: Nintendo has announced new details about the “Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest @ Best Buy” event that will take place during E3. First revealed in Nintendo’s E3 Digital Event announcement last month, the Best Buy Smash-Fest will let fans play the same demo of Super Smash Bros. Wii U that will be available on the showroom floor at E3.

According to a press release, the event will take place at over 100 Best Buy locations in the United States on Wednesday June 11 from 4pm to 11pm local time and Saturday June 14 from noon to 5pm local time. The demo will allow four players to battle against each other. A list of Best Buy locations that will host the event can be found on the event’s website.

Also announced, the first 70 customers at each event that pre-order either the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS version of the game will receive a collectible Super Smash Bros. gold coin that will only be given out at these events — as if getting to play Smash Bros. ahead of its release later this year isn’t enough. Customers will also get a $5 My Best Buy certificate when they pick up their pre-order upon release.

Update: In addition to the 70 customers who pre-order the game, a new press release from GoNintendo says “the first 25 attendees in line on Wednesday, June 11 and Saturday, June 14 at each event” will also recieve the commemorative coin. Also, you can now catch a full list of dates and times of each event on Best Buy. (-Reece)
