The official Japanese website for Hyrule Warriors has been published and reveals an interesting detail about the game: there will be downloadable content. The DLC section of the website is currently closed, so the type of content that will be available is currently unknown. It is also uncertain if players will have to purchase the content or if it will be free. However, this marks the first time DLC will ever be included in a Zelda title.

Besides the DLC section of the website, users can explore character and enemy bios, a small introduction to the game and stage descriptions (all in Japanese). Along with fantastic artwork throughout the site, there is also a gallery section that includes all the official art that has been released. Links to the game’s official Japanese Twitter and Facebook pages are also included.

You can explore the site here!

It’s called “Zelda Musou” in Japan, & I’m pretty sure that’s the name they got on that site.

      • what does that mean?

        • Ryan Haynes

It’s the japanese name for the Dynasty Warriors Series.

          it means what it means.
          “Zelda Musou”
          Or “Zelda Warriors”
in japan they don’t call it the “Dynasty Warriors series” but instead just the “Musou” series, “the Warriors Series” in translation.
Anyway yeah thats what it means and thats the name in japan.

      Yes its the final name.

  • Also, I bet the DLC is the costumes that you get with the deluxe pack (or whatever it’s called)

No matter where I look, I can’t find when it releases. Can someone please tell me. 🙂 thanks.

    • In Japan, it releases on August 17! No word on Europe or North America, though!

      • Kitty-Chan Perry

Okay. Thank you very much. 🙂

My guess is that we’ll get the official title and international release date at E3.

If the DLC is just additional costumes then it’s not too much of a problem. The only thing I despise is that they planned this before the games completion, meaning they can charge full price for the game and possibly extra for content hat should have already been there.
