Imagine staring down the shaft of an arrow as you pull back the string on the legendary Hero’s Bow, aiming your shot at a distant switch or unsuspecting Bokoblin. The creators behind the upcoming YouTube show Arcade Arms will do just that to determine how much punch is packed in this staple item from Link’s arsenal.

A trailer for the upcoming series gives viewers a sneak peak of the video game-inspired weaponry the show will recreate — and a keen eye will spot a beautiful recreation of Link’s bow as it fires arrows at a row of pots, causing them to explode.

Arcade Arms is a new series on Geek & Sundry’s YouTube channel where the host Nika Harper crafts exact and deadly replicas of gaming’s iconic weapons and then uses them to smash things to oblivion. The show gave a teaser last year with a recreation of Kratos’ Blades of Chaos from God of War, but will start uploading new videos in their first full season beginning May 13. The show promises that viewers will see Final Fantasy XIV’s Gae Bolg and Elder Scrolls Online’s Mace of Molag Bal in action during upcoming episodes.

So far the only Zelda item we know that the show will recreate is the bow, which appears to be based on the version from Twilight Princess. We’ve reported on countless Master Sword replicas in the past, so a real-life Hero’s Bow is a refreshing surprise.

What other Zelda-inspired weaponry would you like to see Arcade Arms craft and wield?

This looks cool, it seems eventually Link’s whole arsenal of weapons will be made in real life equivalents.

      Like the Claw Shot!!!

Wouldn’t the Claw Shot in real life be lethal to the person who used it? I’d imagine only a scale model could be made, not a functional replica…unless you were willing to lose an arm. 😉

Oh you know it would, Its just such a cool concept. I would love to see a (possible) way for one to work with out the damage cause.

Well the grappling hook you often see in spy movies comes to mind, although now I have the image of Link putting Double A batteries into his Hook-Shot whenever he uses it….lol

What are Battery’s? Everyone know that there’s no such thing as electricity there’s no electricity in Hyrule That would be crazy I would an imagine it would be like a sleeve as to not rip your arm from your socket.
