she looks good for a plastic version

This is purely amazing, awesome find. I still say that TP Zelda is the same design as OOT Adult Zelda except more detailed (same with Link; TP Link is just a more detailed Adult Link from OOT, and likewise both are pretty standard, hence why “TP Zelda” is still being used in Smash).

Tell me again in english!!! plz!!!!

      • JaidynReiman

        Not sure what you’re saying…

    • CEObrainz

Wasn’t the whole inspiration for TP that it was supposed to be like OOT?

      • JaidynReiman

I’m not sure, but what bugs me is when I say that TP Zelda is basically the same as OOT Zelda people keep yelling at me and saying they’re completely different. I know they’re different Zelda’s, but they’ve still got roughly the same overall design, TP Zelda is just more detailed. Same with TP Link.

I’m not necessarily saying this is on here, as I tend to just lurk on Zelda Universe and only started posting recently.

        • CEObrainz

Ahh well the designs of the two are similar as one would expect from games that try to do the same thing with similar character designs.

Everyone has the’re own opinion I guess, so don’t take it too hard I guess…..

        • Talmor

The similarities and differences are pretty important depending on the angle you’re using when evaluating the series They can tell a story of how metalwork and clothing have been changing in Hyrule – such as TP Zelda’s dress being ‘more detailed’ is that weavers, tailors, embroiders, and such developing/learning new skills over time.

I always chalked up the increased detail and design due to Nintendo going the extra mile and putting extra detail in the models and an increased graphical prowess in the system. I never really considered (nor do I think) it has anything to do with the time period. It could be, but I dunno.

You’re probably right about Nintendo going the extra mile due to better graphical prowess. Story is what draws me into games, usually, so when I’m building up a picture of the world I’m exploring through the main character, I take note of as many things as possible and when it’s a series like Zelda, things influenced by technology available when the game was created factor into the ultimate big picture. It’d be neat if Nintendo considered such points, but they probably don’t.

Here is a blank check with my name on it, put any dollar amount on it and I’ll pay it!

I’m kind of confused, are they not going to release and exclusive of her?
They usually have an exclusive version that cost a bit more for the likes of lights, different expressions, or ugly metallic paint; are they forgoing that this time?
Because I want to preorder ASAP, but I don’t to if the 25% nicer version, that I may or may not want, is just over the horizon.

    The detail…so gorgeous….
