Club Nintendo’s post-play surveys are a great way to bring in some extra Coins. Worth 10 Coins each, these surveys can be your ticket to Elite status. However, come April 7, Club Nintendo will discontinue the post-play surveys for Wii and Nintendo DS games. Any recently earned post-play surveys will expire 30 days after the issue date, as stated on the website:

“Starting on April 7, 2014, any newly registered Nintendo DS or Wii games (both retail and digital copies) will continue to receive product registration surveys, but no longer be eligible for 10-Coin post-play surveys. In addition, starting on April 7, the deadline to complete newly earned post-play surveys for all games will be 30 days after they are issued.”

So if you have any unregistered Wii or 3DS games lying around, you’ll want to head over to Club Nintendo to take advantage of those potential Coins.

  • Do note that they did not include 3DS and Wii U titles in the announcement. They are only cutting off post-play surveys for DS and Wii titles.

It’s been fixed. Note to self: Wait until AFTER writing to eat half a dozen cookies if I want the post to make sense!

This with the cut-off for the online services is what Nintendo needs to do to promote the 3DS and specifically the Wii U more. Mario Kart 8 will hopefully be the start of a big change for the home console.

“So if you have any unregistered Wii or 3DS games…”
