In today’s daily update by Super Smash Bros. series director Masahiro Sakurai on Smash 4 for Wii U, Sakurai revealed a screenshot of Rosalina after having fallen and taken damage on the Animal Crossing: City Folk stage for Super Smash Bros. 4.

“Is it because she’s from outer space?”

Sakurai had this to say on Rosalina’s: “Fallen Rosalina. Strange how calm and nonchalant she looks even when she takes damage. Is it because she’s from outer space?”

Even when she has fallen and taken damage, Rosalina still manages to appear as carefree and majestic as ever, almost as if she’s simply taking a nap. After this and the fact that “the cosmos is beneath Rosalina’s gown“, it seems Sakurai has some kind of odd fixation on Rosalina!

That and a HD pack of 1 and 2, would sell really well on the Wii U considering it’s visuals on the Wii were brilliant despite the hardware.

if they get ported to Wii U i want new stages with it… just sayin

Most likely won’t happen, if they do a HD port, they would hopefully add controls for the Wii U Gamepad and Pro Controller as well as unlocking Luigi from the start for both games. That much I can see happening.

Ahh, I forgot about Miiverse. That would probably be implemented in some way too, perhaps even adding stamps in relation to the green stars for user posts.
