VGL Level 3 Album Cover

Video Games Live is a concert series where video game music is played with a live orchestra, synchronized video footage, lighting and effects, and features interaction with the audience. Video Games Live recently released their new Level 3 album, which contains music from many classic video games. The album was recorded with a 72-piece symphony, an 80-person choir, and many composers and other artists participated in creating the album. One of the pieces featured on the album is the Zelda 25th Anniversary Overture, which features music ranging across the entire history of the series.

Creator and Executive Producer of Video Games Live, Tommy Tallarico, was kind enough to allow Zelda Universe to exclusively feature this piece, and we would like to share it with you all. You can listen to the full track after the jump.

This is awesome. Tommy Tallarico and VGL are so amazing, and Tommy has had such an influence on our industry. This piece is AMAZING. Honestly, everyone needs to listen to this arrangement. I’m not saying this as a Zelda Universe Staff member, but simply as a Zelda fan who loves music. It is incredible!

Great job Alex! And thank you so much Tommy!

I like this music, but is there a reason why my previous post isn’t on here any more?

    • Morgan

No idea. that’s odd. maybe a glitch in the system? I never saw a comment on this story until I commented on it. weird. Though Ryan I will say, I really appreciate your comments on our stories and being able to have the opportunity to engage with our readers! 🙂
