E3-2013-Nintendo-Direct-The-Legend-of-Zelda-The-Wind-Waker-HD-2013-06-11-07_20_20

Attention all people with a passion for art and the Zelda series! Nintendo has decided to hold an official art contest in honor of the upcoming The Wind Waker HD release. All that they require is for you to create a work of art that is inspired by The Wind Waker HD. In return, your art is put on the big screen at the Symphony of the Goddesses concert if you reach the top fifty finalists. If you happen to do even better than that though, Nintendo will give the top five finalists a Wii U plus a copy of The Wind Waker HD!

If you have not picked up this console yet, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for. If you feel that this contest is for you, head on over to Nintendo’s Facebook page where the contest is being held. I cannot wait to see all the art that is submitted since I know that there are plenty of talented artists out there. Good luck!

  • Would certainly consider entering into something like this. Could be good fun. *But from what Ive heard from other articles about this contest – it will likely be for the US only 🙁

Also the Facebook page linked in the article doesnt seem to have any details of the contest anywhere in sight?

For me it would all depend on how long there is until the deadline and if its available for Australia.

The contest page is directly below the main picture to the right of Pictures and Likes. It is listed as Fan Art Challenge.

I wonder… can I enter art I made on Art Academy??

From the look of the official rules, it's only for those living in the US…
Disappointed European here, it looked like a really fun intiative from Nintendo with fair rules 🙁
