YAAAAAAY!!..can’t wait for it..the inversed triforce…well it means the dark world…but it be…that dark Link also will show up?
    Any ways…. like the title!!!
    Let’s just wait 4 it!!

  • Lotti

I love the artwork! Glad we're getting away from pretty boy Link for a spell!

  • mzxrules

Black Triforce… what could it mean?

  • Echon

Ooooh! It has a real title now! Yes! "A Link Between Worlds" is soooo much better than "A Link to the Past 2".

Inverted Triforce…? Huh, the imagery of the game's title is usually pretty important. I know the Dark World will be in BW, but I wonder if that's all it signifies….

  • Zack

Anyone else notice Link carrying the Master Sword and Hylian Shield in the artwork? He also has a bracelet on his left arm that looks important.

    • Zack

He's also not using the Hylian shield in the screenshots. The sword in the screenshots looks very similar to the Master Sword.

    • Echon

Maybe the bracelet is the key behind his ability to go 2D onto the walls.

I'm surprised nobody has noticed in the artwork that Link's shadow is connected to the drawing on the wall behind him. That – connected with the inverted black Triforce in the title – has me very intrigued and I hope they reveal more story elements soon!

I have never wanted a 3DS until now

zomg the official artwork even looks like ALttP/ LA Link! i'm so happy he's returning <3

  • MDH

I'm liking that satanic upside-down Triforce in the logo.

  • Apollo Serenus

It certainly looks like an amazing game. Still not the revolution in Zelda games Aonuma-san has said he’s looking for though.

Wish me luck on the letter that I’ll be sending off to Aonuma-san in the coming days, once my friend gets the translation into Japanese completed.

It may just contain that revolution he’s been looking for. But it will require a system based on the roots left behind with the Gamecube… WiiU just won’t cut it.

One last note, I find that iverted Triforce VERY intreaguing. I can’t wait to find out more. Could have a very nice impact on the pair of trilogies I’ve been working up over the past four years.

  • hmmmm

Odd that he is wearing the white pants, as ALttP/ LA did not (however, the very same Link did wear white pants in OoX). It's also odd that in the official artwork from all the games I just mentioned, Link carried a shield with a design exclusive to those four games, yet according to this game's official artwork, his shield is different. Trite things, but I wonder….

    • heroofmask

well this could be the same link from the ooz games theres not the same link from alttp seeing as in the linked games zelda didnt know who that link was when alttp link and zelda did meet like 2 times

      • Apollo Serenus

        Good point heroofmask.

That makes it clear the the official timeline that places the OoX games betwee ALttP and LA incorrect. Especially when you consider the accomanying text for LA stated Link left Hyrule after his victory over Ganon and that his appearance in OoX is inconsistant with the Link of ALttP/LA.

Plus the OoX games seem to be in the Golden Age of Hyrule that is after ALttP and LA.

        • Guest

          true, but still…

the Link from ALttP/ LA/ OoX all wore a shield with the very same design (at least, to the best of my knowledge). This guy might wear the white leggings of OoX Link, and have a similar face and hair, but his shield is different from all the Link[s] of the Downfall Timeline entirely.

not that that means much though, as Link usually upgrades his shield at least once per game. Guess we'll find out these things in due time..

        • Mik

Yeah, putting OoX between ALttP and LA is madness. Even without the Zelda inconsistency, Link and especially Zelda have different designs in OoX from ALttP. I don’t buy for a second that they were supposed to be the same characters when the game was developed.

  • nayrugoddessofwisdom

A "Link" between worlds, I see. Very clever pun Nintendo…very clever

    • Lord Lemmy

Same can be said about "A Link to the Past"

  • link

    Cool
    😀

  • wtf…

aaaxxx well i mean it is like a 2 dimesion game where on hell is the 3rd dimension wtf … just look at games like twiligh princess there are are 3 dimension but this looks like 2dimension game again wtf
