For those of you looking forward to the release of Wind Waker in high definition, we have a little something for you up above. Nintendo recently visited Disneyland with the purpose of showing off some of the Wii U’s current and future titles. Included in the display was an official Wind Waker poster! Definitely a cool find, this poster gives us another opportunity to reflect on this game. The revamped graphics worked for Ocarina of Time 3DS, so we may expect that they will accomplish the same in Wind Waker’s case. The vibrant and expressive nature of the game is really brought out when I see something like this new poster or the screenshots released a while back.

  • Emerl

    He's so smooth looking!

The Wii u Game pad can also act as the Tingle Tuner mark my words.

Some interesting points that somebody on the forum pointed out:
    – Link has green sleeves again (as apposed to the yellow ones from the first screens)
    – Links eyebrows always show again (as opposed to being covered by his hair in the screens)
    – He almost drops the Wind Waker… is Nintendo going to drop this game?!?!

  • Destiny

were those signs only there for that day or are they staying there?

  • Ganondork

I don't like this, nintendo and disney??? is this some kind of revelation about a fusion?? pray to the goddesses that I'm wrong

    • Craig

Haha no, they're just trying to showcase upcoming titles ready for E3 by advertising them at popular locations – the first being Disneyland.

  • KidWiththeBackpack

Looks beautiful! I can’t wait for this game!

  • Craig

The only 2 things I hope they change is the bloom and remake textures, as some were taken directly from the Gamecube game and stood out. I'd like to think this was just placeholder textures because they hadn't work on it all yet.

  • Konyuna

I hope they will reuse the Gamecube island concept and make a dungeon consisting of only Nintendo Consoles, with the peak being the smallest console (GameBoy), and the bottom being the biggest (Nintendo 64?).

Who knows? Maybe they will put the triforce fetch quest in there instead of the tedious ocean hunt.

It's not exactly cel-shaded anymore, but it sure looks beautiful!

The actual source is another site I will not name, and was taken on May 27th (4 days ago). This was a summer showcase where only games that have already come out and games that are coming out this summer were being marketed. Did you put any research into this whatsoever? This may sound disrespectful, but do some due diligence before you write an article; if you can even call that an article. Zelda Universe has fallen so far and it is really unfortunate, because this was a fantastic site. I hope you guys can pull it together. But do your research. You don't know anything about the context behind that poster. Here's a homework assignment. Find out what site actually broke the story, and don't use 3rd hand sources. This is pathetic.

Even ZI was able to properly cite this article. This is beyond pathetic.

  • AGuest

The actual source of this is The Bit Beacon.

    • AGuest

It took me five to ten minutes to find that out while I was doing research to do an article on this yesterday. But yeah, a guy went with his girlfriend to disneyland, saw the displays, and BOOM, story.

Can you please do some research and give the original source credit for this?

  • Marco G.

    its in Orlando right?
