Kotaku has uploaded an exclusive complete look at the 35-page manga in the upcoming Zelda encyclopedia, Hyrule Historia. Drawn by artist Akira Himekawa, the manga serves as a prequel story to Skyward Sword. Some of you may have already seen the fan translation way back at the start of the year, but the text in this official version is different in places.
If you are waiting to receive your copy of the book before you read it and consider this “spoilers”, then this obviously isn’t for you. For those of you who simply can’t wait until January 29, however, click here!
Remember: this is a manga, and therefore is presented in the traditional Japanese style. This means, as Kotaku states: “it’s supposed to be read right-to-left or, in this case, bottom-to-top”.
