If you want to talk devotion to a cause, and a game series, this may be a cool example. Harry Uglow is a fifteen-year-old Nintendo fan who is devoted to a cause. After his brother was able to survive cancer with help from the Make-A-Wish Foundation (UK), Harry Uglow wanted to raise money for the foundation which helped his brother. His solution was rowing across the English Channel, on a boat named after Link’s steed, Epona.

Well, on the August 19 he succeeded in his venture, becoming the youngest person to row the English Channel. On his faithful Epona he succeeded in making the trip in just over four and a half hours. So far, £13,075.10 has been donated. Even though he’s already completed his challenge, you can still donate to help his cause here.
