ZREO Choir Recording

Zelda Reorchestrated, better known as ZREO, have been creating beautiful versions of Zelda music for years. They’ve created several albums, including their Soundscapes series, but are currently working on their biggest and most ambitious project so far. Twilight Symphony is an album-in-the-works that will contain at least two and a half hours of fully orchestrated music from Twilight Princess. The album will even feature a full choir, which was funded a while ago by a Kickstarter appeal.

Yesterday was the day when the recording session with the choir actually took place. According to ZREO, it was a “SMASHING success!” Continue reading to see some videos taken during the recording which provide a sneak preview of what is to come. Judging by what we see here, I think that smashing might be an understatement!

ZREO were also liveblogging during the recording session, which you can read here.

I don’t know about you, but I’m very much looking forward to hearing the final product. Will you also be downloading it?

Sounds good for a fan-made track!

  • Sage of Hyrule

See Nintendo? Now, would that have been so hard?

What ZREO has done is nothing short of amazing. The time and effort that the organizers have put into this is astounding. Having followed the Twilight Symphony project ever since the kickstarter campaign, seeing this near completion, to quote Yoda, "brings warm feelings to my heart".
