Hello, Universe! I am Rusty, here to bring you another fabulous Music Monday!

Today we put the spotlight on one of my favourite Zelda games, Twilight Princess, which still remains a huge source of inspiration to me. The game is fantastic, the art is fantastic, and the music does not disappoint at all. The music in Twilight Princess is some of my favourite in the entire series, and–I believe–is some of the most creative in the history of Hyrule.

The music in Twilight Princess draws, from what I think is a mixture of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, and like them, conveys the emotion of the game, yet refreshes what bits and pieces it took from other games. I am very happy to say I have a ZeldaTunes for you this week, a re-orchestration of “Kakariko Village.” After that, I have a fantastic piano cover of “Lake Hylia!” To hear these, you can hit the jump!

I’m happy with the way that turned out, especially the flutes! “Kakariko Village” is one of the most iconic, and relaxing songs from Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess gave it a really interesting twist, that I adore. I hope you all enjoyed that, and I can assure you, I am far from done with the music of Twilight Princess. Next, a phenomenal cover of “Lake Hylia!”

What a great cover! The guy who played that has several other Zelda piano covers, and they’re all just as great, so I would highly advise checking this guy out! Thank you for reading, and I will see you all again next week!

Zelda music is some of the best out there.

That piano cover made me hate my own piano… WHY CAN'T YOU PLAY LIKE THAT YAMAHA!?!
But on another note, it was incredibly beautiful, nothing like the cloying tones of a piano to make you want to visit Lake Hylia yourself.

“Kakariko Village” is one of the most iconic, and relaxing songs from Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess" And A Link to the Past. 🙂 Beautiful, TP's music captures the magic of the place and gives it an extra feel, like it's an adventure into long ago. Life is all around in this big world and you can explore it all.
