Those of you who bought the Skyward Sword limited edition bundle will know that the pack came with the game, a CD of orchestrations of music throughout Zelda history, and a very special gold Wii MotionPlus controller. This original bundle was considered a limited edition, and in Japan it is no longer available. It has become very rare to find because of the limited production and even sites like eBay will make you pay top price. If you’ve decided recently that you’d like to buy Skyward Sword in a  bundle like this but can’t seem to find it easily or cheap enough then maybe a solution has been found.

The only problem is whether the solution will release outside of Japan, and  also whether you mind not receiving the gold Wii MotionPlus controller and instead can cope with a regular white one. Nintendo have decided to release a new Skyward Sword bundle in Japan with some new really beautiful box art. It comes with the same things as the limited edition gold bundle except that the Wii MotionPlus controller is now just plain old white instead of the sparkly gold coating that came with the first one.

The only problem obviously is whether Nintendo feel the rest of the world need the choice of picking out of the standalone game or the bundle.

What do you think of this new bundle design? If you didn’t have Skyward Sword yet, would you pick this up if it came to your country? Let us know in the comments section.

you are probably going to get a lot of hate for that.

  • A_LINK_IN_TIME

I absolutely adore that sexy bundle!

  • darkgerudo

Even if I hadn’t already purchased the limited edition bundle, and if this were to be released outside of Japan, I would pick this up. I wouldn’t mind the white color at all, since it would coordinate with what I’ve already got.

If it has $$ off, it'd be worth it. not like I'll buy it because I have the fancy gold wiimote edition.

  • Lizzy

Oh goodie! Im glad I pre-ordered mine when it first came, and I didnt realize it was limited edition. My gold wiimote is defiantly a looker, and its good to know they are "rare"

  • Timothy88

I'm so happy I got the limited edition bundle too:D What could they do for Zelda WiiU? Maybe a gold WiiU tablet? That would be amazing!

    • 000

Amazingly stupid; the gold wii ote made sense since it was wii motion plus and people may not have it; beside, it was the 25th anniversary and stuff; what would be the use of releasing an expensdive gold tabklet control with no special gameplay featuresm when the system's got already one. Stupid hyped fanboy.

  • The golden bundle fits the epicness that was Zelda's 25th Anniversary.

  • tim

hey instead of feeling jealous over those gold remotes make one with real gold and that will be worth more.

  • Disciple of Midna

I'd be happy with a standalone release of the soundtrack.
