      • jonfre

        yes i am, lool

  • heroofmasks

no no no nooooooooooo that would basically turn it into a 3rd person cod no way theres only 2 things i dont want them to change voice acting and guns and maybe links gender so no guns would ruin the game and nintendo nwould lose tons of fans

Another name for a third person CoD: Gears of War.

  • PikaLink

    how about a crossbow instead

    • Melpomene

I like that idea better than a gun.

    • *Is playing Link's Crossbow Training* Um… Haven't we already done that?

      • heroofmasks

i think he means a crossbow in a full zelda game a accual adventure i think lct was a test to see how a crossbow would work in a zelda game

        • Rocksor

Dude, in Link's Crossbow training he has it the whole game. *facepalm*

Definitely NOT as usable items. BUT maybe some musket-type guns for enemies? Like bokoblins armed with muskets (and moblins with big hand cannons)? That wouldn't be so bad.

  • We've kinda gotten guns, there was the Whirlwind item in Spirit Tracks, just shot out wind. A Crossbow is the closest we've gotten though. I say that Link should only get a gun if a game is set in the future, and even then, it should be accompanied by the bow and the bow should still get the elemental shots. Also, arrows dip in projection eventually, the gun would be nice for quick and easy shots to hit switches and enemies at distance a bow couldn't reach. But even then, only in more mature Zelda games at that.

  • how about a magical gun that can only shoot 10 feet

  • Four Swords Link

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. That is my answer, because that would destroy the Zelda game and destroy the reputation of the Zelda series. Besides, who would buy a Zelda game where Link had a gun in it? I'll tell you who, NOBODY!

    • heroofmasks

fps would but nintendo would also lose all there main dfans so they would lose money

  • Rocksor

Everybody who likes call of duty would play 1st person shooters of legend of zelda where he has a gun. but it would still suck. I say no

  • negaknight

There's already been cannons in various games, so there is a precedent. I mean… don't give him an M16 or anything, but I think something like a blunderbuss would would be cool. Powerful, but slow firing without nearly as much range as the bow, so there would still be room for both. Maybe use it to take out heavily armored enemies.

  • I think they will introduce a crotch shooter which is not like a call of duty crotch but a zelda one.

  • Reebox24

they already did…in TP. That one guy had that bazooka type thing. Something like that I could see them bringing into the series as a ranged item, or a derastic upgrade for the bow and arrows

Highly debated? I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that nobody wants guns in Zelda games.

  • veeronic

    crossbow is all your getting

Ever heard of Fable 2 or 3? If they did it like that, then it could work… only with flintlocks and muskets though, no machine guns!!!!
