Swords falling from the sky? This is the new Skyward Sword commercial which will be appearing in North America. I still haven’t seen this on television yet, but it’s definitely an attention grabber. The commercial is short and sweet, and features little focus on the actual game play. However, this will definitely get people talking about the game. Hit the jump for the video and let us know what you think!

    hahaha
    Elijah Wood?
Also, most challenging Zelda yet? If this crap is harder than zelda 2, I'm gonna be a sad panda.

    • Craig

It's naturally hard… not purposely hard so don't worry – it's a fun challenge. Also, that's not Elijah Wood, it's just a guy with curly hair.

      • jmoods

        Fantastic.
        So pumped for this game.

  • ChainofTermina

"Most challenging Zelda yet"?………………………………let me guess, I'm probably the only person on the planet who sees that as a bad sign, right?

WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE VIDEOGAMES THAT PISS THEM OFF!? IT MAKES. NO. SENSE.

    • TnzSki

I think we can trust the Zelda team not to make a game that's frustratingly hard, but to develop one that is a really fun challenge.

  • Trolldad

I would rage if a random sword fell from the sky and pierced my car,
but if it was the Master Sword I would be all over the fucking moon

  • Ashmic

one of my favorite games is one of the easiest in game history IMO, it doesn't made if the game is good or hard, as long as its story effects you :]

    • Ashmic

      *easy not good lol

  • Mystic Sabreonic

Not bad not bad. Def want one of those swords! Lol!

  • Vale Lywoud

Challenging and hard are two different things.

A hard game will punish you with cheap tricks where a challenging game will give you a situation that you can solve, as long as you are paying attention.

  • Keimori

    XD hilarious add!
I wonder if my insureance covers "falling sword and sheild "damage?

  • John

I JUST SAW THIS ON TV AND I WAS SO EXCITED!!

Legend of Zelda: Earthward swords n' shields

    • Dorfongan

haha hilarious, and yes, the commercial is indeed a bit misleading but even if the commercial solely depicted starving children it would be the best commercial ever!

  • I wish one would fall through the roof and lodge itself in my desk.

  • If the Master Sword fell into my living room, I would leave the world behind. It's CLEARLY time to roam the land, righting wrongs and fighting evil. XD

  • Jonatas Silva

If a Master Sword fell right in front of me, I would probably mow my lawn and check if money popped out, just in case.

  • Katherine Chi

How would you feel if the Master Sword fell right onto your wii?

    • rookie

hahahahahaha! I think i'd feel ok, seeing as i now had a master sword.

    • dcrouse

      FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • pololmejor

    *10 and–*
Umm… 10 and what? 10 AND WHAT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    • GorCoronSumo

      !0 and swords?

  • KyleLink

I wish a Master Sword fell through my roof.

  • Anonymous

So i guess this means that there will be the hylian shield 🙂

    • rookie

Yes, its shown up in a few trailers so far. I think it'll probably be the result of an upgrade.

  • guest

I would flip out if I got a master sword hylian shield. LOL!

  • Link02

It's exactly like the Pokemon Diamond & Pearl Commercials, but with Master Swords and Hylian Shields instead of Pokeballs.

Didn't really expect NoA to do any commercial justice to anything.

Nintendo of America: Let us make it seem like we're from up above, acting as a God.
Employee: Didn't we do that alre- *fired*
Ah America and it's constant greed of abusing the 'powers that be'.

  • ABAZELDAFAN

i want to be in a zelda commercial

  • apeschwartz

anyone know where you can buy one?

  • If a Master Sword fell through my roof, I'd turn around and look at all the bricks I just shat.
